The moment I stepped into my studio, I actually paused – the space felt so much more thoughtful than what you typically get, especially for a 4-star property. Everything was clean in that “actually clean, not just surface clean” way, and the layout just made sense. I mean, whoever designed these units clearly understood that travelers need real space to spread out, not just a glorified hotel room with a mini fridge shoved in the corner.

What really gets me about this place is how they’ve nailed the apartment-style setup without cutting corners on the hotel-style service. The kitchenette in my studio wasn’t one of those sad afterthoughts – it had proper cookware, a decent-sized fridge, and honestly, I ended up making breakfast there most mornings instead of hunting down overpriced tourist cafes. The Wi-Fi actually works (I know, revolutionary concept), which matters when you’re trying to plan your day or just want to video call home without wanting to throw your phone across the room. And here’s something that caught my attention – the soundproofing is legit. Athens can get pretty lively, especially during summer evenings, but I slept well every single night.

The location thing is interesting because while it’s not smack in the middle of Plaka where all the tourists cluster, you’re still close enough to everything that matters. I found myself walking to most places I wanted to visit, and there’s this authentic neighborhood feel around the property that I really appreciated. You’ve got actual locals doing their daily thing, small family-run shops, that sort of vibe that makes you feel less like a tourist and more like you’re just temporarily living somewhere cool. The staff – and I’m usually pretty skeptical about overly friendly service – genuinely seemed to care about making sure everything was sorted. No fake smiles or rehearsed responses, just helpful people who know their business well. That 9.3 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there. It’s not trying to be some luxury resort experience, but what it does, it does really well. If you’re the type of traveler who wants independence but doesn’t want to sacrifice comfort or cleanliness, this place hits that sweet spot perfectly.

  Location, safety, host, comfort, facilities. There is a little eatery at the square right outside which is wonderful 😊 you can watch traditional pastry making and try the fabulous food
  
  What could be improved: Athens! Sadly we got mugged and phone stolen. Difficult to find the police station after. No fault of the apartment but won't be back to the city.
