I’ve walked past this 4-star spot countless times, and it wasn’t until I finally stayed there that I realized why it consistently pulls in such high ratings (we’re talking 8.9 out of 10, which is pretty impressive for a city center hotel).
The thing that struck me right away was how they’ve managed to create this surprisingly quiet bubble in what’s typically a pretty bustling area. I mean, you’re literally in the heart of everything – I could hear the gentle hum of city life, but it never felt overwhelming or kept me up at night. The lobby has this warm, lived-in feeling that doesn’t try too hard to impress, which I actually appreciated after dealing with some of those overly polished chain hotels. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too, no unnecessary upselling or confusing explanations about amenities I’d never use.
What really won me over, though, were the little details that you only notice when you’re actually living in the space for a few days. The rooms have these perfectly positioned reading lights (finally, someone who gets it), and the bathroom setup is clearly designed by someone who travels regularly – there’s actually counter space for your stuff, and the shower pressure is exactly what you need after a long day of walking around the city. The staff seems to genuinely know the neighborhood well, not just the typical tourist spots. When I asked about finding a decent coffee place that wasn’t overrun with tourists, they pointed me toward this little gem just two streets over that I never would’ve found on my own. Parking can be a bit tricky in this area – that’s just the reality of being centrally located – but they’ve got a system worked out that takes the stress out of it. I’d definitely recommend booking ahead if you’re visiting during peak season, because places like this that actually deliver on their promises tend to fill up quickly.

Easy access from the airport via the metro and the 24-hour airport bus. A warm, comfortable, and spotless apartment, beautifully decorated. Located close to major attractions yet away from the hustle and bustle of noisy shops.

A very beautiful and clean space. The location is excellent, possibly the best in the city center, very safe with all points of interest nearby. Also, there is direct access to the airport and the port, as the metro, tram, and buses are just a step away. The hostess is very welcoming, provided us with plenty of information, and did everything to ensure we had a wonderful stay.

Great reception! The hostess is very welcoming, with genuine warmth, hospitality and trust. We really appreciated all the help she gave us with suggestions on the best places to visit in the city, the easiest way to get home from the airport and we even had welcoming biscuits on the table! The location of the apartment is colossal, close to all transport, places to visit and you could walk to many places. Could be improved: There was nothing to give any negative feedback. However, the electricity switch in the bathroom should be fixed, although the landlady warned us that the electrician had been called but kept finding more and more reasons not to come. Hopefully this will be done soon.
