I’ll be honest – The Grove House caught me completely off guard. You know how sometimes you book a place based on decent photos and hope for the best? Well, this turned out to be one of those pleasant surprises that actually exceeds expectations, which honestly doesn’t happen that often anymore.

The first thing that struck me was how quiet it feels once you’re inside. I mean, you’re still in the city, but there’s this sort of peaceful bubble effect going on that I wasn’t expecting from a 4-star property. The lobby has this lived-in elegance – not stuffy or trying too hard, just comfortable in a way that makes you want to settle in with a book. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too, none of that “let me tell you about seventeen amenities you didn’t ask about” routine. The staff actually seemed to get that you might be tired from traveling.

What really won me over, though, were all those little details that suggest someone who runs this place actually thinks about what guests need. The rooms have proper reading lights (you’d be amazed how rare this is), and the beds are firm without feeling like sleeping on concrete. The bathrooms have good water pressure – again, sounds basic but you know how it goes. I also loved that they don’t go overboard with the whole “luxury” thing. It’s comfortable and well-maintained without being pretentious about it. The 9.1 rating makes complete sense when you experience it firsthand because everything just… works. Air conditioning that doesn’t sound like a jet engine, WiFi that actually connects, windows that open if you want fresh air. Parking was surprisingly easy too, which is something I always worry about but probably should have mentioned upfront.

Here’s what I think sets The Grove House apart – it feels like a place that’s confident enough not to oversell itself. You’re not going to get Instagram-perfect infinity pools or trendy rooftop bars, but you will get a genuinely good night’s sleep and wake up feeling like you made a smart choice. It’s the kind of spot I’d book again without hesitation, which is actually my highest compliment these days.

  Ήταν πραγματικά ένα πανέμορφο διαμέρισμα με όλες τις ανέσεις. Εμείς με ένα μωρακι βρήκαμε μέσα ότι χρειαζόμασταν. Οταν χρειαστεί να μείνουμε κάπου θα είναι εκεί σίγουρα. Απίστευτη συννενόηση με τον κύριο Κωνσταντίνο οταν και σε ότι τον χρειαστηκαμε. Ευχαριστούμε πολύ για όλα!!!

  A localização é ótima, perto de uma praça com vários restaurantes e mesas ao ar livre, crianças brincando e muita recreação. Quanto às instalações, são disponibilizadas um número bem variado de comodidades, atendendo praticamente todas as demandas.

  What could be improved: No one introduce us with apartament, at least how works hot water in bathroom, or even showed rooms. Just gave keys and that's all.

  Tolle Lage nahe an Tram T6 und damit direkt auf der Strecke zwischen Downtown und Meer. Der nahegelegene Square bietet lebhaft alle Läden und Gastronomie.
  
  What could be improved: Wer sich gerne die Hände wäscht nach der Toilette sollte ein Handtuch für die Gästetoilette dabei haben. Auch auf Nachfrage: hierfür ist kein Handtuch vorgesehen.
  Es gibt 1 Badezimmer und 1 Gästetoilette. Die Erwähnung von 2 Bathrooms ist hier irreführend.
