What impressed me most was how thoughtfully designed everything is inside. The space feels genuinely modern without being sterile, if that makes sense. The kitchen actually has proper counter space (rare in Athens apartments, trust me), and they’ve stocked it with decent cookware, not the usual mismatched tourist rental stuff. The bathroom has one of those rainfall showerheads that actually works well – I’ve stayed in fancy hotels where the water pressure was terrible, but this place gets it right. The bed is comfortable too, though the street can get a bit lively on weekend nights when people are heading to the bars in Psyrri. Nothing major, just something to keep in mind if you’re a super light sleeper. The air conditioning works brilliantly, which you’ll definitely appreciate during those sweltering July afternoons when Athens feels like an oven. There’s also this lovely little balcony where you can sit with your evening glass of wine and watch the neighborhood cats doing their thing on the rooftops – weirdly relaxing after a day of sightseeing.
