I mean, sure, the name promises an Acropolis view, but honestly nothing prepares you for stepping onto that balcony and seeing the Parthenon just sitting there like it’s been waiting for you personally. I’ve stayed in plenty of places claiming views in Athens, but this one actually delivers – and I’m talking about a proper, unobstructed sight of the whole thing, not some sliver between buildings.

The location is pretty much perfect if you want to be in the thick of things without going completely insane from tourist chaos. Syntagma Square is right there (I mean literally a three-minute walk), so you’ve got the metro connections if you need them, plus all those little souvlaki joints that locals actually eat at tucked into the side streets. The apartment itself feels more like staying at a friend’s place than some sterile hotel setup – there’s actual personality in the rooms, decent kitchen space if you want to grab groceries from the market near Monastiraki, and the beds are surprisingly comfortable. I was expecting that European firm-mattress situation, but these were just right.

What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night, considering you’re basically in the city center. The building seems well-insulated, and the street it’s on doesn’t get the late-night bar crowd noise that some of the other central areas deal with. Mornings are when this place really shines though – having coffee on that balcony with the Acropolis catching the early light is honestly worth the price alone. The 4-star rating feels about right; it’s not luxury by any means, but everything works properly and the space is clean and thoughtfully set up. Check-in was smooth too, which isn’t always a given with apartment rentals in Athens. The 8.5 rating makes sense when you factor in that view and the fact that you can walk to pretty much everything worth seeing – the Plaka, the Ancient Agora, even the National Gardens if you want to escape the marble and crowds for a bit. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if I was traveling with someone who wanted their own room but didn’t want to blow the budget on two separate hotel bookings.

  Location, location, location. It is literally being in the heart of Athens, you feel the buzz of the city but you are high up with the most amazing view of the acropolis from each window; it is breathtaking. The communal areas are extremely well decorated, all very tasteful and super clean. Honestly the location and the view are worth the money
