But here’s the thing locals know: Koukaki has some of the best traditional tavernas that haven’t been completely overrun by tour groups yet. There’s this little bakery on Dimitrakopoulou Street where you can grab proper Greek pastries for breakfast, and the evening crowd tends to be more young Athenians than cruise ship passengers.   What an amazing apartment. I went with my sister and nephew. We all had our own rooms + 2 bathrooms. We had privacy. Each room had its own air conditioner, I liked my room not as cold as my nephew. The location is incredible. You are living right in the middle of a great restaurant district, great vibe. You eat where locals eat, very affordable prices and amazing authentic Greek food. There are several supermarkets and bakeries around too. Walking distance to Pkaka, Acropolis and all major ancient sites, about 15 minutes. The apartment is very big, the rooms very comfortable. Huge wrap around balcony that we sat in with chairs and table. This is the perfect apartment for space, privacy, location and cleanliness. Would recommend 100%.

  The location is excellent, near public transport and city center. There are a lot of bars and restaurants literally at the doorstep and several grocery stores nearby. The apartment is spacious and has a lot of light. It was clean and tidy, and has all the features needed. The communication with the host was easy, he answered all the questions quickly and was very eager to help. Definitely recommend!

  The property is in a perfect location for exploring tourist spots and enjoying local cuisine. Most tourist destinations were accessible on foot from here and others were a short taxi ride away e.g. Glyfada Beach. The accommodation was very comfortable with good facilities including air conditioning. The host is very helpful and prompt in communication. The only downside is that it can be very noisy in the night due to the hustle and bustle of diners as the eateries remain open until 1a.m. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay here.

  Lokacija je bila odlična, pešaka na 15-20 minuta od strogog centra grada. Stan je prostran, tri spavaće sobe, prostrana trpezarija sa dnevnom sobom, 2 kupatila, kuhinja sa svim potrebnim aparatima. Ispred same zgrade nalazi se dosta barova i restorana, kao i prodavnica. Metro stanica je na 10 minuta. Vlasnici stana su nam ostavili mogućnost da izađemo posle 11h, kada je chek out, jer nam je taxi stizao tek oko 13h. Hvala domaćinima. Sve je bilo divno!
