I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name Historic Center Apartment 3, I wasn’t expecting much. It sounds pretty basic, right? But you know what, sometimes the places with the most straightforward names end up surprising you the most. This 4-star spot really grew on me during my stay, and I mean that in the best way possible.

The thing that struck me first was how lived-in everything felt. Not worn down, just… authentic, I guess? The apartment has this comfortable weight to it, like it’s seen plenty of guests come and go but maintains its character. I actually loved that – there’s something refreshing about staying somewhere that doesn’t feel like it was decorated yesterday by a committee. The rooms have proper personality, with details that make you think someone actually cares about this place rather than just running it as a business. The 8.0 rating makes total sense once you settle in; it’s not trying to be flashy or over-the-top, but everything works exactly as it should.

What really won me over was the neighborhood vibe. Being right in the historic center means you’re walking distance from pretty much everything that matters, but – and this is key – it’s positioned on one of those quieter side streets where you can actually get some sleep. I mean, you’ll still hear some evening activity (it’s a historic center after all), but nothing too crazy. The morning light comes in beautifully, and there’s this great coffee place literally around the corner that locals frequent. I found myself stopping there every morning, partly for the excellent espresso but mostly because the owner, Maria, makes you feel like you’ve been coming there for years. Check-in was smooth too – no standing around waiting or confusing key situations, just straightforward and friendly. Sometimes the simplest things matter most when you’re tired from traveling. Honestly, I’d stay here again without hesitation, especially if I wanted to feel connected to the area rather than isolated in some generic hotel bubble.
