What struck me right away was how this 4-star property manages to feel both polished and unpretentious at the same time. The suites themselves are actually spacious – and I mean genuinely spacious, not that cramped “suite” nonsense where they just stick a mini-fridge in the corner and call it a day. Each one has this lived-in comfort that makes you want to kick off your shoes and actually relax, which is rarer than you’d think in hotels these days. The design leans modern without being cold, if that makes sense – think clean lines but with enough personality that you’re not wondering if you’ve accidentally checked into a hospital. I particularly appreciated the little touches, like having enough outlets near the bed (seriously, why is this so hard for most places?) and blackout curtains that actually block out light.

The staff here gets it – they’re helpful without hovering, which honestly feels like a lost art. Check-in was smooth, no weird upselling attempts, and when I had a question about late checkout, they just made it happen without the usual song and dance. The whole place has this quiet efficiency that I’ve come to associate with well-run properties. It’s not the kind of hotel where there’s always some conference group clogging up the lobby or kids running wild in the hallways – it skews toward business travelers and couples, which creates this nice, calm atmosphere. The 8.6 rating makes total sense once you’ve stayed here; it’s that sweet spot where everything works the way it should, but they’re not charging you resort prices for basic competence. I mean, it’s not going to blow your mind with over-the-top luxury, but sometimes what you really want is a place that just gets the fundamentals right – comfortable bed, reliable WiFi, hot shower with decent water pressure, and staff who treat you like a human being. 33SolonosSuites delivers on all of that without any fuss or fanfare, which honestly might be exactly what you’re looking for.

  I had a fantastic experience at 33Solonos Suites and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Athens. The suite was beautifully designed — modern, clean, and very comfortable. Everything felt thoughtfully curated, from the decor to the amenities. The bed was super cozy, and I appreciated the strong Wi-Fi and smart check-in system.
  
  The location is perfect — right in the center, close to great cafes, restaurants, and shopping, yet quiet enough for a restful night. It was easy to walk or take a short ride to all the major sights.
  
  The communication with the host/team was smooth and professional, and they were quick to respond to any questions. You can tell they really care about the guest experience.

  We enjoyed our stay, the owners were really helpful. It felt like we were in a hotel, the rooms were cleaned daily. The building is really safe with cctv and is situated in one of the best locations. Definitely staying again.

  Initially i had booked a smaller room so i had asked if an upgrade was possible as I wanted to work from the hotel and my first room didnt have a table. i have to say that the people working customer service at this hotel are incredible. fast reponses, quickly solving my problem and making me feel at home! what a great experience.
  
  the rooms are very clean, the location is central (metro within walking distance, acropolis within distance, supermarkets, shops, food, coffee – everything within walking distance)

  What could be improved: the only thing that would make this a 10/10 is if this place would have a gym. there is a terrace on the 3rd floor that was locked the whole time. if you dont use it, make an "open – air" gym out of it – people will use it!
