The apartments themselves have this lived-in comfort that feels more like staying at a well-traveled friend’s place than some sterile hotel room. The kitchenettes are properly equipped too – not just those sad mini-fridges and a coffee maker situation you usually get. I actually cooked a few meals with groceries from the local market, which honestly saved me a fortune and let me eat like a human being instead of surviving on tourist trap gyros (though let’s be real, I still had plenty of those).

What really sold me on this place was the staff’s approach – they’re not hovering around trying to upsell you on tours or restaurant recommendations, but when you do need something, they actually know their stuff. The woman at the front desk gave me directions to this little bakery that I never would’ve found otherwise, tucked away on a side street where the locals grab their morning coffee. It’s those kinds of insider tips that make a difference when you’re trying to get a real feel for a city instead of just hitting the obvious spots. The rooms stay cool even during those brutal August afternoons (learned that the hard way during my first Athens trip years ago), and the beds are firm enough that you don’t wake up feeling like you wrestled with a marshmallow all night.   The staff is amazing, and Emilio is the absolute best, always goes above and beyond to help us!! And the neighbourhood around the place is lovely, don't just stick to acropolis (which are great) also visit the Parati streets!!

  Before we begin…DO NOT WALK UP THE STEPS TOWARDS THE APARTMENT! If you have been before and followed Google Maps, you’ll know what I mean!
  About the place; superb. Perfect little apartment for just me. 20 minute walk to the Acropolis and a short walk to the old Olympic Stadium. The brothers were extremely accommodating and had loads of recommendations of places to eat and see.
  I’ll be back when I’m next in Athens!
