The suite itself is actually pretty impressive, though it’s more boutique luxury than grand hotel luxury, if that makes sense. Everything feels carefully chosen rather than just expensive for the sake of it. The bathroom has this amazing rainfall shower that I probably spent way too much time in, and the bed – I mean, I’m usually terrible at sleeping in new places, but I was out like a light every night. What really got me was the attention to small details: proper blackout curtains (thank god), a coffee machine that actually makes decent espresso, and enough outlets that you don’t have to choose between charging your phone and your laptop. You know what though? The AC can be a bit temperamental – took me a day to figure out the sweet spot where it wasn’t either Arctic or completely useless.

The neighborhood is where this place really shines. You’re walking distance from Lycabettus Hill if you’re into that morning hike thing, and the cafes along Skoufa Street are absolutely perfect for people-watching with a freddo cappuccino. I discovered this little bakery just two blocks down that locals line up at every morning – the kind of spot you’d never find if you were staying in the tourist zone. Parking can be tricky (welcome to Athens), but the staff actually gave me solid advice about the side streets where you won’t get towed. The area gets pretty lively on weekend evenings, which was fun, though light sleepers might want to pack earplugs just in case. Check-in was smooth – the front desk person spoke perfect English and genuinely seemed to care about making sure I knew my way around the neighborhood. With an 8.7 rating, it’s clearly hitting the mark for most people, and I can see why. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’re staying somewhere special without all the stuffiness that usually comes with upscale hotels.

  We loved the location, so conveniently close to all the major attractions that were within walking distance. The restaurants were also within walking distance. The apartment was very well stocked with essentials, there was water, orange juice, coffee capsules, soft drinks and croissants plus shower gel, soap and shampoo . The in room jacuzzi was brilliant but they knew it leaked and it was disappointing that it hadn't been fixed when the person who let us in pointed it out, there was dirty water coming out of the bottom which made us not want to use it. The lounge area was very comfortable with a giant TV and there was a nice small balcony. The air conditioning worked great but was a bit noisy.
