99 Adrianou Apartments Overview

When I first walked into 99 Adrianou Apartments, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect – the name doesn’t exactly scream luxury, you know? But sometimes the best places are the ones that don’t try too hard, and this turned out to be one of those pleasant surprises that makes you feel like you’ve discovered something special in Athens.

The thing about this place is that it actually feels like proper apartments rather than hotel rooms pretending to be something they’re not. I mean, you’ve got real kitchen space where you can spread out and maybe grab some of those amazing tomatoes from the local market, plus the kind of living areas where you can actually relax after trudging around the Acropolis all day. The setup is perfect if you’re staying more than just a couple nights – and honestly, once you settle in here, you’ll want to. What really got me was how quiet it stays despite being right in the heart of things. You’d think with all the foot traffic on Adrianou Street (it’s one of those pedestrian zones that tourists love), you’d be dealing with noise until late, but the way these apartments are positioned, you get this nice buffer. I actually slept better here than at some of those fancy hotels up in Kolonaki.

The staff – well, they’re the kind of people who remember your name after one conversation and somehow know exactly which direction you’re trying to go when you ask about “that church with the thing.” You know how some places make you feel like you’re bothering them just by existing? This is the complete opposite. They’ve got this relaxed confidence that comes from really knowing their neighborhood, and they’ll steer you toward the little taverna tucked behind the main strip where locals actually eat, not just the obvious tourist spots. The whole experience feels more like staying with friends who happen to run a really well-organized place than dealing with typical hotel bureaucracy. Plus, and this might sound weird, but the coffee situation here is legit – none of that instant stuff you sometimes get stuck with in apartment-style accommodations. When you’re paying for a 4-star place with ratings pushing 9 out of 10, you expect things to work smoothly, and everything here just… does. The WiFi doesn’t cut out when you need it, the air conditioning actually cools things down, and check-in doesn’t involve standing around for twenty minutes while someone figures out the computer system.

Reviews of 99 Adrianou Apartments

  • Miriam from United States of America (9/10)

Even though it was located in the midst of a busy tourist area, the suite itself was completely quiet so we could enjoy the view of the Acropolis from our window and the access to shopping, dining, and strolling around the foot of the Acropolis and the proximity of Monastiraki. The suite was spacious and easily accessible and the staff was available by WhatsApp or their nearby office.

Great location. Within walking distance of all the major historical sites like Acropolis, Ancient Agora, Roman Agora, Hadrian's library and Hadrian's Arch. Also close to Monastriaki square and Syntagma square. Plenty of cafes and restaurants to choose from. The street is full of shops of all kinds. The room is very spacious with a comfortable bed and pillows. Room cleaned everyday and drinking water supplied every day. There is a large seating area with a luxurious sofa which can also be used as a sofa-bed. Large walk-in wardrobe and a pantry with sink. The room also has a work desk with shelves. Would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Athens for the first time.
