I could easily stroll to the National Archaeological Museum in one direction or head toward Monastiraki for some serious souvlaki hunting in the other. What really struck me was how this street manages to feel residential and authentic while being so central — you get the real Athens experience without the constant tourist chaos right outside your door.

The Space Itself

The room (well, it’s really more of a studio setup) feels much more spacious than typical Athens accommodations. The design strikes this nice balance between modern comfort and Greek character — think clean lines with some traditional touches that don’t feel forced. The kitchen area is actually functional, not just decorative like in some places, which was perfect for preparing simple meals with ingredients from the local markets. I particularly appreciated the attention to details like good lighting and proper storage space, things that matter when you’re staying more than just a night or two.

Daily Life and Practicalities

What I loved about staying here was how it felt like living in Athens rather than just visiting. The neighborhood has this great morning rhythm — locals heading to work, the corner café filling up with regulars, shopkeepers opening their doors. There’s a small supermarket just around the corner, and honestly, the whole area feels safe and welcoming even late at night. The building itself is quiet, which is something of a miracle in this part of the city. I mean, you’ll still hear the occasional motorbike (this is Athens, after all), but nothing that kept me awake.

  Really liked the apartment – just like the pictures – spacious, nicely decorated with everything you might need. Loved the quality bedding/sheets and the bed was very comfortable. TV with Netflix, 2 coffee machines and coffee provided. I could see the Acropolis from the balcony! Also, smoking in the balcony was allowed. Convenient location, walking distance to main sights and center – I didn’t have to use public transport at all. Lovely square with chill bars, restaurant and coffee shop on a doorstep, I think there was even a night club nearby. Also, the apts manager waited for my late arrival past midnight, greeted me and explained everything about the apartment – very welcoming! Overall high quality apartment and I had a great stay and would love to come back for longer.

  Modern, brand new apartment. Clean and tidy. Excellent host (Oleg) with a knack for problem-solving. Great shower and new appliances. Nice lighting and electric shutters. Spacios for one person.
  Oleg was a great host and responed to all my questions with solutions. He also provided fresh towels in the middle of my stay.

  Sobre la ubicación , no he tenido una sensación de inseguridad como esta en ningún alojamiento, fueras por donde fueras hasta los apartamentos, estaban rodeados de zonas en las que había trafico de drogas , grupos de personas pinchándose en medio de las aceras ,edificios y naves abandonados .Todo esto condiciono bastante , la movilidad así como el manejo horario.
  Para las llaves hubo problemas , al parecer la persona que había ocupado antes el apartamento , se dejo las llaves puestas en la cerradura…Habíamos quedado en recoger las llaves algo antes de la hora establecida y al final tuvimos que llamar ,esperar, en definitiva, alterar toda la organización, para volver mas tarde a recoger las llaves.( parece increíble que apartamentos turísticos, recién reformados y habiendo sistemas de seguridad no los hayan implementado ).
