But after spending a few nights there, I can tell you this 4-star spot really delivers on that “modern” promise, and honestly, it feels more like having your own apartment in Athens than staying at a typical hotel.

What struck me right away was how they’ve nailed that sweet spot between hotel service and apartment living. The spaces are genuinely spacious – I mean, you can actually unpack your suitcase and spread out, which is rare in European city centers. The kitchenettes aren’t just for show either; they’re properly equipped, though I’ll admit I mostly used mine for morning coffee and keeping wine chilled (priorities, right?). The design is clean and contemporary without being cold – lots of natural light, which you really appreciate during those shorter winter days in Athens. Actually, the whole vibe reminds me of those trendy Airbnbs, but with the reliability of daily housekeeping and a proper front desk when you need help.

The location works really well if you want to experience Athens like a local rather than being stuck in the touristy Plaka area all the time. You’re close enough to walk to the major sites – the Acropolis isn’t going anywhere, trust me – but you’re also in a neighborhood where you’ll see actual Athenians going about their daily lives. There’s this great little bakery around the corner that opens ridiculously early, and the smell of fresh bread drifting through the streets becomes your morning alarm clock. The staff here actually know the area well too, which matters more than you’d think. When I asked about finding good souvlaki that wasn’t tourist-trap pricing, the guy at reception gave me specific street names and even drew a little map. That 8.5 rating makes sense when you experience that kind of personal touch. The only minor thing I’d mention is that some of the apartments face busier streets, so if you’re a light sleeper, maybe ask for something on the quieter side when you book. But honestly, that’s Athens for you – it’s a living, breathing city, and part of the charm is hearing it wake up around you.

  Location is great, close to subway and the center of the city. Apartment was clean, updated and comfortable. Apartment is reasonably priced. easy communication with the manager.

  One of the best accommodations I’ve stayed at in recent years. The location was excellent, close to the city center. It’s in a safe, nice neighborhood. The shops and restaurants are very close. The owner was extremely helpful and kind, answering all of our questions. The apartment was fully equipped, very clean, and very comfortable. The bed was also very comfortable. I highly recommend the apartment to anyone who wants to visit Athens.

  The apartment was really amazing. When you see it, you would know that you have paid extra to get this type of accommodation. It was very clean and I think would be a good choice for those who can pay extra.
  
  What could be improved: I guess what I am about to say is a normal concern since this is an apartment and not a hotel. It was difficult to request for a late check out eventhough we would pay for it coz I guess there were no other rooms they could offer to the next guests. We had to evacuate exactly at the time given to us 11am. Good thing, we found lockerpoint where we could leave our luggages though it was really a challenge coz we had to do it in between our visit to acropolis plus the fact that our luggage was heavy coz we already did some shopping. Also, they didnt give us the instructions ahead of time, unlike the first apartment we stayed at in Neo Kosmos. For this apartment, we waited an hour for them to respond coz we arrived pass 12nn and the check in was 3pm. They gave us the room pass 2pm. You know the feeling that you are helpless coz youre just outside the building of the apartment you paid for, and you dont have the information how to access that apartment, in a country youve never been to, with all your luggages and backpacks, that wasnt so nice at all.

  It was very clean and modern, the bed was very comfortable and it was really easy to check in and out. It’s easy to get to anywhere in Athens from the apartment and it wasn’t too loud at night, despite being near plenty of really cool wine bars.

  What could be improved: Unfortunately as soon as you enter the property one is faced with three “veiled threats” to the tune of …if you do this you’ll be charged so much. What a pity!
