The location is honestly perfect for exploring Athens without being stuck in the tourist chaos 24/7. You’re close enough to walk to the major sites (and I mean actually walk, not that “walking distance” nonsense that turns out to be a 45-minute hike), but you’re also in a neighborhood where real Athenians live and work. There are these little tavernas nearby that don’t even have English menus – the kind of places where the owner’s grandmother is still making the dolmades. The 9.3 rating makes total sense when you experience the service too. The staff actually seems to care about your stay rather than just going through the motions. They’ll give you real recommendations, not just point you toward the most touristy spots. One person at the front desk spent like twenty minutes explaining the best times to visit different archaeological sites to avoid crowds – knowledge you only get from people who’ve been dealing with visitors for years and actually pay attention.

I’ll be honest, it’s not the cheapest option in Athens, but you’re getting apartment-style space and hotel-level service, which is a combination that’s pretty hard to find.   I recently stayed at this apartment and had a generally positive experience. We arrived late at night, and the owner was very accommodating, promptly providing us with the lockbox code over the phone. This made our late check-in smooth and hassle-free.
  
  Upon entering the apartment, we found it spotlessly clean and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, including an iron, ironing board, hairdryer, kitchen utensils, a coffee maker, and an electric kettle. This thoughtful provisioning truly made our stay more comfortable.
  
  One of the highlights was the quiet atmosphere of the apartment. Despite being situated on a main road, there was very little street noise, allowing us to relax and unwind without disturbances.
  
  The location was also fantastic; it’s just a seven-minute walk to the Syngrou Fix metro station, making both the city center and surrounding attractions easily accessible. Additionally, we appreciated the proximity to various restaurants and a supermarket.
  
  A noteworthy aspect of our stay was the excellent customer service. After checking out, my friend realized she had accidentally left her earphones behind. When we contacted the owners, they quickly responded and confirmed that they had already collected the earbuds and safely stored them in their office. We retrieved them without any hassle, showcasing their commitment to guest satisfaction.
  
  Overall, this apartment provided a wonderful experience, combining comfort, convenience, and excellent service. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area!
  
  What could be improved: We were not informed that we had to turn on a switch for the hot water. We were only told when we complained about it the next day.

  Before arrival, we were messaged regarding check in and been informed about everything needed. We wanted to check in early and also asked if we could leave our luggage for storage afterwards of which both were professionally managed and helped with. The staff were fantastic. They accommodated us very well and gave us everything we needed. They provided us with towels, shampoo, conditioner, shower gell, sweets, water, tea, hot choco, coffee, you name it. The water pressure for the showers were great as well. The beds were very comfortable, even the sofa bed! There was space for 6, but we were only a group of 5. The TV had Netflix and all the things necessary which was so enjoyable for the night time. The location is very convenient as well. It is a very modern place, well looked after with great staff!
  
  What could be improved: Surprisingly nothing! Amazing stay and wish that we were there for longer. I have stayed at many hotels, hostels and airbnbs, but nothing could top the great staff here and the beautiful place.

  The apartment is really nicely decorated, spacious and comfortable and has everything needed for living. The beds were comfortable and luxurious and the staff was extremely kind and attentive. The location is perfect.

  Location was great – 24 hour cafe/bakery across the street – the Bread Factory. Unit was very clean, spacious and inviting. Absolutely no street noise despite being in a central location. Short walk to acropolis, restaurant and shopping area. Hosts stored our luggage until check in time. Hosts were very responsive. Make sure you have the host phone number with you when you arrive as there is no front desk at the building.
  
  What could be improved: We didn't realize that the hot water was solar powered, so initially ran out of hot water in the shower. Ask about the electric "boost" switch on the electrical panel that heats more water – that helped!

  Great location, great facilities, great host (thanks Dennis), lovely place to visit Athens from. If you like a walk try the walk directly from the apartment up to the philopappos monument, down to Pynx hill and around the acropolis through plaka. Great little circuit with stunning views.
