The bed was firm but not concrete-hard, which is my sweet spot, though if you prefer super soft mattresses you might want to bring an extra pillow topper.

Here’s the thing that really sets this place apart though – the staff genuinely seems to like working there. I’m not talking about fake smiles and robotic “how can I help you” responses. The front desk folks remembered my name by day two, and when I mentioned I was looking for a decent coffee spot nearby, the concierge didn’t just point me toward the hotel restaurant but actually drew me a little map to this local place two blocks over that serves incredible pastries. That kind of local knowledge is gold when you’re in an unfamiliar area. The hotel’s location puts you close enough to everything that matters without being right in the middle of tourist chaos – you can actually sleep with the windows open if you want fresh air. Check-in was smooth even though I arrived earlier than expected, and they stored my bags without any fuss. Honestly, with a 9.2 rating, I was expecting to find something to complain about just to balance things out, but the worst thing I can say is that the coffee in the lobby could be stronger. That’s pretty much it.
