The staff here genuinely knows the neighborhood, too. When I asked about finding good souvlaki that wasn’t a tourist trap, the front desk guy (I think his name was Dimitris?) actually drew me a little map to this hole-in-the-wall place three blocks over that served the best gyros I had in Greece.

I stayed there in September and the weather was still pretty warm, but my room stayed perfectly cool. The 9.0 rating this place gets makes total sense once you experience how smoothly everything runs – check-in was quick, housekeeping was thorough without being intrusive, and when I had a question about local bus routes, they had current schedules right at the front desk.
