I’ll be honest – when I first heard about A&N Athens Luxury Apartments – Akadimou, I wasn’t sure what to expect from yet another “luxury” place in Athens. But you know what? This one actually lives up to the hype, and that 9.3 rating makes perfect sense once you step inside.

The location on Akadimou Street is sort of this sweet spot that locals know about but tourists haven’t completely overrun yet. You’re basically in the heart of the city center, but tucked away enough that you won’t hear every single motorbike roaring past at 2 AM (trust me, this matters in Athens). I mean, you can walk to Syntagma Square in maybe ten minutes, and the National Library is practically next door – which sounds boring but it’s actually in this gorgeous neoclassical building that’s worth seeing. The apartments themselves feel like someone’s stylish friend let you crash at their place, except everything actually works perfectly. The kitchens are properly equipped (not just a mini-fridge and a prayer), and honestly, after weeks of taverna food – delicious as it is – being able to make coffee exactly how you like it in the morning feels like luxury.

What really got me was the attention to those little details that show someone actually thought about what travelers need. The Wi-Fi doesn’t cut out every five minutes, the air conditioning can handle August in Athens (seriously crucial), and the beds are the kind where you wake up not feeling like you wrestled a Greek god all night. The staff knows their stuff too – not in that overly rehearsed concierge way, but like they genuinely live in the neighborhood and can tell you which bakery opens earliest or where to find decent wine that won’t cost your firstborn. I actually ended up extending my stay an extra two nights because… well, why mess with a good thing? The whole building has this calm, residential vibe that makes you feel less like a tourist and more like you’re just temporarily living a more elegant version of your life. Plus, and this is key for Athens in summer, the apartments stay surprisingly cool even when it’s blazing outside, and the windows actually block out most of the street noise. For a four-star place, it honestly feels more thoughtful and comfortable than some five-star hotels I’ve stayed at that were all marble and attitude but forgot about things like decent shower pressure or having enough outlets near the bed.

  Very modern and new apartment. Very clean. Helpful staff. They kept our lugguages after check out time to our flight which was much appriciated. I am really grateful for this.
  15-20 mins to centre by walk but there are bus stations near.

  Easy Check-In and out everything went smothly. Its clean and only a 10min walk away from Monastiraki. Enough space:) The Host is very friendly and helpful. We were able to leave the Suitcases in the apartment after Checkout which was great!

  Code to room was easy once locating the accommodation. Accommodation was clean and comfortable. Great location just outside where some cute funky cafes were, we loved waking up and heading across the road to the garden cafes. Host were really helpful too.

  The bed was large and comfortable. The walk-in shower was nice. Air conditioner worked well. The left us a complementary bottle of wine and two large water bottles. Very close to restaurants and shopping. Key pads worked well. Convenient elevator. Competitive price. Easy to reach owners with questions. Rooms are updated and clean.

  We loved the modern and comfortable bathroom, the comfy sofa, the large terrace. The apartment was clean and well equipped. We were able to leave our luggage at the property after check-out and collect it later, which was very helpful. The immediate surrounding of the property is nice (bars/restaurants) and lively at night (you might need earplugs if you are a sensitive sleeper, but the windows are quite good).

  Stunning and modern apartment, very clean and well presented. The apartment is only 10 – 15 minutes walk from the main areas where you can find lots of local cuisine and shops. Host's were great and really went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed. We had a late flight back and they looked after our luggage even after check out. Right outside is a busy restaurant and bar with friendly staff.
