Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard about Androniki Suite, I wasn’t expecting much from a 4-star place. But walking into this spot completely changed my perspective on what a boutique property can deliver. The moment you step inside, there’s this immediate sense that someone actually cares about the details here. The lobby isn’t trying too hard to impress, but everything feels intentional – from the way the light hits the reception area to the genuine warmth of the staff greeting you.

What really struck me about Androniki Suite is how they’ve managed to create this intimate atmosphere without feeling cramped or stuffy. The suites themselves are honestly impressive – I mean, you’re getting proper living spaces here, not just a bed shoved into a corner with a tiny desk. The bathrooms alone made me reconsider my usual booking criteria (marble everything, but not in that cold, hotel-chain way). You know what surprised me most? The soundproofing. I’m usually the person complaining about hearing conversations through walls, but here you’d never know other guests existed. The beds are the kind where you actually sleep through the night – none of that tossing and turning on a too-soft mattress that most places seem to think is luxury.

The service is where Androniki Suite really shines, and I don’t just mean the polite-smile-at-check-in stuff. These people remember your coffee order, they’ll suggest restaurants that locals actually go to (not tourist traps), and when I mentioned I was looking for a specific type of shop nearby, the concierge drew me an actual map with shortcuts. That 9.9 rating starts making sense when you realize they’re treating you like a houseguest rather than just another booking confirmation. The breakfast – well, it’s not a massive buffet situation, but what they do prepare is fresh and changes daily. I actually found myself looking forward to seeing what they’d come up with each morning. Honestly, after staying here, going back to those generic chain hotels feels like settling for fast food when you could have a home-cooked meal. If you’re the type who appreciates when a place gets the small things right – proper water pressure, blackout curtains that actually block light, staff who know the difference between being helpful and being pushy – then you’ll understand why this place has such a devoted following among people who’ve discovered it.

  Eleni was very welcoming and very keen to provide everything we needed.
  
  The property is beautifully appointed with a heavenly bed, shower with good water pressure and lots of hot water and outdoor areas to sit to enjoy Athens
  
  The suite is absolute spotless and has everything you could need, including a washing machine. It is on the 3rd floor and there is a lift.
  
  We had exclusive access to a rooftop space with amazing views of the Parthenon lit up at night.
  
  The location is perfect, just 10-15 mins walk to the Plaka district and the entrance to the Acropolis.

  This is one of the best experiences I’ve ever had on Booking. The location, the flat, and Eleni are truly exceptional. It is spotlessly clean, well maintained and it has everything one could need for a short or long term stay. I found the washing machine very helpful as I travel with a carryon only. There are two clotheslines available for drying including one on the rooftop for sunny days. The neighborhood is quiet and felt safe to me as a solo traveler. The building has multiple locking safety measures as well. With tons of natural light, a terrace with oregano and citronella and the beautiful Grecian sun, it’s an oasis to relax at the end of a day of exploring. The Hop On Hop Off stop is close by as is the Acropolis along with many cafe culture restaurants. Eleni is a wonderful host who is responsive and knowledgeable. I hope to return here someday.

  Returning to our Androniki Suite was like returning to an oasis after our adventures in wonderfully vibrant & busy Athens. We stayed for a week in Athens, 3 nights in Psiri then 3 nights here at Androniki. Our stay at Androniki Suite, with its sunlit filled large space, large balcony, impeccably clean & fabulously appointed facilities, as well as rooftop patio for our exclusive use (with a magnificent Acropolis view), was a highlight of our trip in Greece so far.
  We walked everywhere.
  Nearby, restaurants, bars, breweries, coffee and bakeries shops line the avenues. It is less touristy here than Psiri & The Plaka. We found the food/ services to be of higher quality than in the nearby Plaka.
  At night we enjoyed the night time view of the Acropolis…truly beautiful.
  Eleni, Androniki Suite manager/owner, is a superb communicator & checking in & out was a breeze. Eleni was very helpful during our stay. She is a gracious lady.
  We have no hesitation in recommending a stay at Androniki.

  Perfect location! The host is really nice, always there and makes you feel welcomed! She provides water, coffee and sugar delights for free daily. The apartment is clean, spacious and it is very quiet!
  
  What could be improved: A hanger in the bathroom would be nice. The host however mentioned she has plans for renovating it. House rules are bit overwhelming in the beginning but it keeps the place in a great shape

  Eleni went out of her way to ensure our comfort. She already got in touch via Whatsapp a few weeks before our stay, which was helpful as she shared Athens recommendations that helped us plan our stay & enabled us to book our Acropolis & museum tickets in advance. We arrived to the apartment very late at night (2am), and Eleni was there to receive us without hesitation. The fridge was stocked with water and food for us after a long travel. The apartment is large, clean and spacious, with a very short walk from the main Athens city center.
  
  What could be improved: Everything was super, although the hand-held shower was slightly cumbersome (especially for a lady) as there is no overhead shower holder nor a shower curtain, which wets the bathroom. Already informed Eleni of this, who mentioned she is aware and plans to renovate soon.
