The 4-star rating feels about right – it’s not luxury, but everything works properly and there’s genuine attention to detail. That 9.6 rating from other guests? Yeah, I get it. The check-in was smooth (no awkward waiting around with your luggage), and the space is actually bigger than the photos suggest, which is rare these days. The kitchen has proper appliances too, not those tiny European fridges that barely fit a bottle of wine.

What I really loved was how the green balcony becomes this little refuge in the evenings. Athens can get pretty intense – the traffic noise, the summer heat, all those tourists crowding around Monastiraki – but you step out there with a coffee or a glass of something stronger, and it’s like having your own secret garden. The plants aren’t just for show either; they actually create some nice privacy from neighboring buildings. I spent way more time out there than I expected, especially in those early morning hours before the city really wakes up. You can hear the church bells from somewhere nearby (there are churches everywhere in Athens, honestly), and if you’re lucky with the weather, there’s usually a decent breeze. The only minor thing – and this is pretty typical for Athens apartments – is that the shower pressure could be better, but the hot water is reliable and the bathroom is modern enough. Parking can be tricky in this part of the city, so if you’re renting a car, maybe think twice, but the public transport connections are solid and you can walk to most of the major sites anyway.

  I am very very satisfied with this apartment for many reasons but the most important ones are these –
  
  1) Near the metro station especially to the airport.
  2) The house is fantastic. What I needed was all there..Full kitchen facilities, washing machine, a balcony to hang the clothes, room was big enough, piano for your to play if you can play, netflix, etc….its basically like your own home.
  3) Near supermarket, bakery, cafes
  4) Safe neighbourhood

  If i am ever back to Athens…I will defn book this apartment.

  Our hostess had thought of everything to the smallest detail. We loved the complimentary wine and beer, and coffee. Everything she had chosen was of excellent quality (top notch brands.) The apartment was very tastefully decorated and very comfortable with a fully equipped kitchen. The location was a step away from the metro station and we could also find free parking on the street. If you want to stay away from tourist traps, this is the place to stay!
