It’s not just the name that’s a mouthful – this place actually delivers on every single word of it. I mean, when you see “city skyline view” in a listing, you usually expect maybe a sliver of buildings between two other apartments, but honestly, the panoramic spread from these windows is the real deal.

The location is what really sold me though. Being near Kolonaki means you’re in one of Athens‘ most sophisticated neighborhoods – think tree-lined streets, high-end boutiques, and that particular Athens energy where ancient history bumps up against modern café culture. I’d walk down to Skoufa Street in the mornings for coffee (there’s this little place called Taf that locals swear by), and you’re literally a fifteen-minute stroll from the National Gardens when you need to escape the city buzz. The metro connections are solid too, which matters more than you’d think when you’re hauling luggage around.

Inside, well, it’s clear why this place scores a 9.8 rating. The two bedrooms are actually spacious – and I say that as someone who’s been crammed into plenty of European “apartments” that turned out to be glorified closets. Both bathrooms are modern without being sterile, with decent water pressure that doesn’t quit halfway through your shower. The kitchen has everything you’d actually use (not just a tiny fridge and a hot plate), which is perfect if you hit up the local markets. Actually, there’s something satisfying about making Greek coffee while looking out at the Acropolis in the distance – it’s one of those moments that makes you feel like you’re living in Athens rather than just passing through. The air conditioning works properly too, which during those July afternoons is basically priceless. Sometimes the elevator in the building can be a bit slow, but honestly, that’s pretty standard for this part of the city, and the climb isn’t terrible if you’re feeling energetic. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night – Kolonaki has this nice balance where you’re close to everything but not dealing with the party noise from Psyrri or the tourist chaos around Plaka.

  Everything was very good at this property. The location, the apartment and everything inside.
  It was very close to get to the metro station, that was 1 station away from the city center. To walk to Syntagma square was about 15’.
  The apartment is at the 5th floor with a common balcony for the 2 bedrooms and a very nice big terrace at the living room, with a great view, a big table and 4 chairs.
  The bedrooms are very clean, the beds very comfortable, enough space to store the clothes. Everything was just like at a hotel (the sheets and pillows, the towels, the shower accessories, toilet paper).
  The bathrooms are very clean and modern. The water at the shower was perfect in both bathrooms.
  The living room very big and comfortable couch, and the kitchen was perfect for our needs. We had complementary coffee capsules and normal coffee as well. They even had cold water in the fridge.
  I liked the fact that all the instructions on using the things in the house were printed and very clear displayed on the wall.
  We also had the possibility to leave our luggage inside the apartment for a few more hours and it was life saving.
  
  The only minus was the internet access and the TV. Even though there was a WIFI available in the apartment, it did not work well, it kept on running out of internet. There was also a smart TV in the living room, but it did not work, we couldn’t access anything on the internet and the host told us that he knew about the problem and he is trying to fix it.
  But for us was not a big minus
  
  I would definitely recommend it and come back here.

  Very good property, perfect for a family of 4. We stayed there for a short vacation in Athens, and it met all our expectations.

  The apartment was just as described and completely suited our needs (couple with 2 teenagers). It was well laid out and the additional bathroom was a bonus. It was nicely decorated and very clean. There was a pretty balcony overlooking the park. The bedrooms were quiet and a welcome escape from the busy city. Transport connection to both bus and metro were an easy walk. The communication with the host was exceptional. He was very responsive and welcomed any questions we may have had about Athens. The instructions on usage of everything within the apartment were comprehensive – from arrival, stay and departure details. Tim had some trouble with the lock box on his first attempt when he arrived and he had to wait for it to reset before he could try again. On subsequent uses, we didn’t have any problems at all and this system seemed to work well. Thank you for a wonderful stay in Athens.

  The location is perfect. The apartment is well equipped and clean.
  
  What could be improved: There is a small heating problem in the apartment. Insulation is poor. Climatisation does not work properly. There is a big air conditioner in the main room, but it can't warm it up. In the bedrooms there are two small units and they are doing much better.
