Speaking of location, you’re positioned well enough to walk to the major sites without feeling like you’re camping in the middle of chaos. I could stroll to breakfast at this little bakery nearby (the staff pointed me toward it) and grab proper Greek coffee without dealing with crowds of tour groups first thing in the morning. Evenings were surprisingly quiet considering you’re in the heart of things – the windows do their job keeping street noise to a minimum. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle in this part of Athens (honestly, it’s a puzzle everywhere in Athens), but they help sort that out for you. The whole experience just felt… effortless, I suppose. Sometimes you stay somewhere and spend half your mental energy dealing with hotel-related annoyances, but here you can just focus on actually enjoying Athens. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel like you made a smart choice rather than just an expensive one.

  Amazing accommodation and amazing hosts. Everything was spotlessly clean, the house was in a very good location, and everything in the house was wonderful. The hostess had thought of everything, the property had everything inside, nothing was missing. They had thought of snacks and breakfasts, also regarding cleanliness, every 2 days the cleaning crew came and cleaned the apartment again. I would definitely choose it again. If there were more than 10 ratings, I would definitely give it 10+.

  This spacious and superbly kitted out apartment provided everything you could want for a couple of nights on business in Athens. I was delighted to receive a basket of food and drink in the fridge, including a few beers, from the hugely helpful Maria whose family run The Lop. The wonderful Opera Park is nearby, too. Now marked as my favourite place to stay in Athens.
