When I walked out the front door, I was literally steps away from those tiny galleries that pop up between designer boutiques, and honestly, I spent way too much time just wandering the side streets. The whole area has this interesting mix — you’ll see older Athenians doing their daily shopping alongside younger crowds heading to those wine bars tucked into converted neoclassical buildings. And the mountain views from certain angles? I wasn’t expecting that level of drama from an urban hotel, but there it is.

What really impressed me (and I’m usually pretty picky about these things) was how the staff seemed to actually know the neighborhood beyond just the obvious tourist spots. The guy at reception didn’t just point me toward the National Gallery — which is great, don’t get me wrong — but mentioned this little bookshop café that stays open late and has the best view of Lycabettus Hill from its back terrace. That’s the kind of insight you get when people are genuinely invested in where they work. The rooms themselves have this clean, modern thing going on without feeling sterile, and honestly, after walking around Athens all day, that rainfall shower was exactly what I needed. Street noise wasn’t really an issue either, which surprised me given how central everything is — though I’d probably still pack earplugs if you’re a super light sleeper, just because it’s a city, you know?

I should mention that 9.4 rating isn’t just inflated review nonsense. There’s something to be said for a place that consistently gets the details right — good WiFi (actually good, not just functional), decent coffee in the morning, and rooms that don’t feel cramped even when you’ve got luggage everywhere. Plus, being in Kolonaki means you’re walking distance to some of the best restaurants in Athens, but also those little souvlaki places where locals actually eat. It’s that sweet spot where you feel like you’re experiencing the real city without sacrificing comfort at the end of the day.

  excepfional place, modern with more ammenities than one can ask. 100x times better than a hotel. fully equipped kitchen , modern bathroom, closed bedroom, ac everywhere. owner took time to think of everything including ammenities for men and women in bathroom. there is even a washing machine in appartment. very clean very comfortable beds. exceptionnal location next to everything grocery stores parrmacies hospital cafés and banks and atm. walking distance to sintagma , lykavito and kolonaki square. very safe area and in the chic of athens. the owner was reachable at all times for anything you need.

  Well located in such a lovely part of Athens with cafes, restaurants and train station close by. Easy short walk to The Plaka and other attractions. The apartment was clean and comfortable. We requested that the sofa bed was made up for us as we were arriving late. It was, and nice to sleep on. Would recommend this accommodation to others and would stay there again myself. A much better option than just a hotel room.

  Location was not at the heart of tourism centre but it was 10 minutes far away from syntagma on walk.
  Also it is very close to metro station which makes it possible to reach anywhere in Athens, even to airport.
  Apartment was very well organised. Bathroom was a bit small but well enough.
