The soundproofing is excellent (Athens can get pretty lively at night), check-in was smooth even when I arrived way earlier than expected, and they had this lovely little spread of local pastries and proper Greek coffee in the morning that felt authentic rather than continental-hotel-generic. The 9.1 rating makes complete sense once you’ve spent a night here – it’s not trying to be everything to everyone, but what it does, it does really well.
