I’m talking about proper sightlines to the Acropolis and beyond – the kind of vistas that locals pay premium rent for. What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays despite being right in the thick of things. You’re close enough to walk to all the major sites (and I mean actually walk, not that “walking distance” nonsense that turns out to be a 45-minute hike), but somehow the street noise doesn’t really penetrate. The building itself feels solid, well-maintained – you can tell someone actually cares about the property rather than just collecting tourist money.

The apartments themselves have this lived-in comfort that’s hard to fake. Everything works properly, which honestly isn’t always a given in Athens rentals, and the kitchens are actually functional if you want to grab supplies from the local markets. Speaking of which, there’s this fantastic little neighborhood feel once you step outside – proper Greek cafes where locals drink their coffee, not just tourist traps. The check-in process was refreshingly straightforward too, no running around the city to collect keys or dealing with confusing instructions. I stayed during shoulder season in October, and while the summer months are probably busier, you get the sense this place maintains its standards year-round. That 9.6 rating makes perfect sense once you’ve been there – it’s not trying to be flashy or over-the-top luxurious, but it delivers exactly what you want from a city break base. The kind of place where you actually look forward to coming back to at the end of a long day of sightseeing, rather than just tolerating it as somewhere to sleep.

  The apartment is well located, 20 minutes walk from the Acropolis. Very organized self checkin process.

  The apartment was clean, elegant with good equipment and near public transport. Short walking to Panepistimo Metro station and Klafthmonos bus stop, it's Sounion bus stop too.. Everything was near, lots of restaurants, supermarket in downstairs, short way walking to Monastiraki, Psyri and Plaka. The housekeeper was very kind and elegant. She showed me a beautiful view of Acropolis on the roof floor. We got free candles, coffee, and drinks.

  Nice large one bedroom apartment that was nicely laid out. Large rooms including bathroom and kitchen. Everything worked with no surprises, hot water,.drains, curtains, tvs, etc. Location is prime with this apt. Very close to the must-see sights.but far enough away to avoid the high priced restaurants and big crowds. Metro stop also conveniently close.
