What really struck me first was how the staff handled check-in – no rushing, no fake smiles, just genuine helpfulness. The kind where they actually listen when you ask about getting around the city instead of just handing you a generic map. The lobby has this comfortable, lived-in feeling that immediately tells you this isn’t some cookie-cutter chain hotel. You can hear a bit of street life filtering in (it’s Athens, after all), but honestly, that’s part of the charm. The rooms hit that sweet spot between modern functionality and character – clean lines, good lighting for actually reading, and bathrooms that don’t make you feel like you’re in a cramped airplane lavatory.

Here’s what I really appreciated: the little things that matter when you’re tired from walking around ancient ruins all day. The air conditioning actually works properly (crucial in summer), there’s enough power outlets near the bed for your devices, and the Wi-Fi doesn’t cut out every ten minutes. The beds are properly firm – not that squishy hotel bed situation where you wake up feeling like you’ve been folded in half. I noticed they keep the common areas at just the right temperature too, which sounds minor until you’ve stayed places that feel like either a sauna or an icebox. The 8.6 rating makes complete sense to me – it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in Athens, but everything they do, they do well. You know what really sold me though? On my last morning, I mentioned to the front desk that I was looking for a decent coffee spot nearby, and instead of directing me to some tourist trap, they pointed me toward this little local café that the neighborhood regulars actually use. That’s the kind of insider knowledge that comes from a team that genuinely cares about the area they’re in, not just the property they’re managing.

  The apartment was very clean and looked as advertised when we showed up. It was also centrally located to the heart of Athens, near many shops, eateries, and top sightseeing destinations.

  The apartment is as described and the host was very responsive, not to forget Greece is so far the best at customer service. The apartment is close to the Larissa train and metro station which makes it very convenient if traveling from/to airport and inside de city. Great souvlaki nearby and the Acropolis is only 30-40 min walk.

  Ideal apartment for 2 families, not in the centre but close to metro and big supermaket. Apartment is nice clean and new-ish/modern. Communication was very smooth with all the instructions and help/advices as needed.

  The host was extremely helpful, with lots of information on how to reach the property, how to collect the keys, how to enter the building a.s.o. If you will stay at this apartment you will have the full package before even reaching Athens. Kudos for that!
  The apartment was extremely spacious. Also most comfortable beds I ever slept in Greece (and I travelled quite few times).
  Although technically across the street from the Athens Railway station, we were not bothered by any noise (of course I don't know how's in summer time, when you need to sleep with doors opened, but even then, you can turn the AC on and keep the doors closed).
  The neighbourhood is more friendly than it looks at the first sight, so don't let the railway station proximity fool you. Supermarket within walking distance (2 mins) ideal for those willing to cook or prepare a quick salad. Also several markets that are available if you came in very late (like we did)
