The neighborhood has this authentic Athens energy – you’ll hear Greek conversations drifting from the tavernas below, catch the scent of grilled souvlaki wafting up in the evenings, and honestly, it feels like you’re actually experiencing the city rather than just visiting it. The metro connections are solid too, which saved me so much time getting around. There’s something refreshing about being able to grab real coffee from a local kafeneio instead of hotel lobby overpriced stuff.

What really sold me on this place was the attention to detail – and I don’t just mean the thread count on the sheets, though those were pretty nice. The staff actually remembered my name after day one, which doesn’t happen often at four-star places. My room had this perfect balance of modern comfort and subtle Greek touches that didn’t feel forced or touristy. The bathroom was spacious enough that I wasn’t bumping into everything (you know how European hotel bathrooms can be), and the shower pressure was actually decent – honestly, that’s half the battle right there. The whole property feels intimate without being cramped, probably because they clearly put thought into the design rather than just cramming in as many rooms as possible.

One thing worth mentioning – the area can get a bit lively in the evenings since you’re in a real neighborhood, not a sterile hotel district. Personally, I loved falling asleep to the distant sounds of Athens life, but if you’re someone who needs absolute silence, maybe pack earplugs. The air conditioning worked perfectly though, which in Athens summers is basically non-negotiable. Check-in was smooth, parking situation is manageable if you’re driving (though honestly, why would you in Athens?), and that 9.6 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there. It’s the kind of place where you actually look forward to coming back to your room at the end of the day.

  The layout of the apartment was perfect for us, the beds were very comfortable, the balcony was nice. The shutters, which drowned out the noise of the traffic were perfect
  
  What could be improved: TV – Netflix has a 4-digit code, so no television, the bath didn't have a plug, the shower curtain was too long, so it was permanently wet. chopping board would be great. A welcome pack on how to get the bus into town, how to work the cooker and why no plug in bath, all would have been nice

  Apartment is fabulous!! It has everything you need for short or long stay. Very clean space with beautiful furniture and layout. The bed mattresses are of the same quality as 5* hotels!! It is located close to everything on foot. Landlord really polite and helpful at any time!
