When I first walked into the lobby, I immediately got why they chose this spot in Exarcheia. You know that feeling when a hotel actually gets the vibe of its surroundings instead of fighting against it? That’s exactly what’s happening here.

Exarcheia itself is… well, it’s not your typical tourist Athens. This is where the university students hang out, where you’ll find the best late-night souvlaki spots that locals actually frequent, and where the street art tells stories about the neighborhood’s rebellious spirit. The hotel sits right in the heart of all this energy, but somehow – and I mean this in the best way – they’ve managed to create this pocket of calm without losing the authentic Athens edge. I actually loved how you could hear just enough of the neighborhood’s buzz to remind you where you are, but it never kept me awake. The soundproofing is surprisingly good for a 4-star place.

What really impressed me was how the staff seemed to genuinely know the area. When I asked about getting to the National Archaeological Museum (which is basically a pleasant walk away), the front desk guy didn’t just give me directions – he told me about this tiny café halfway there where archaeologists apparently grab coffee before work. Those are the kinds of details you only get from people who actually live and breathe this part of the city. The rooms themselves have this modern comfort thing down perfectly, with those little touches that show someone was actually thinking about what travelers need. I mean, enough outlets in the right spots, a shower with proper water pressure, and – this might sound small but it matters – blackout curtains that actually block out the Greek sun when you want to sleep in. The whole place feels like they took a 4-star framework and then added personality instead of just expensive marble everywhere. Honestly, after staying in some soulless chain hotels around Europe, walking into Athens Exarcheia Vibe 2 felt like staying with a friend who has great taste and actually wants you to enjoy their city.

  Thank you. I really enjoyed the stay. The location was very convenient to my conference; and also to the city/tourist attractions such as parliament/Acropolis.. Basically i did not use transport during my stay.. i walked to places and i enjoyed those walks too…. i am a keen walker though. Cafes and eating places around the stay were great. My apartment was very comfortable.

  Central location. For me – walking distance to touristic points, but nearby you will find main public transport points (Omonia Metro and so on). Easy Metro lines.
  Large and Stylish Apartments (newly furnished). I did not use kitchen area, but it seems you will find all the tools for cooking. Washing machine is big big +
  And big big surprise: you can sleep at nights, SILENCE AT NIGHT !!! 👍🏻 No traffic sounds. This area with big choise of cafe/restaurans, small bars/clubs crowded by young people, but the noise will not reach your apartments.

  Apartment was really clean and cosy. Shower facilities were amazing. Exarchia is a great location for chilling out in. This Apartment is an ideal Base for exploring and Ioannis was very flexible with checking in and out. Would highly recommend it.

  Butas gražus ir tvarkingas. Šeimininkas labai malonus. Lokacija labai gera. Iki pagrindinės stotelės Syntagma ir pagrindinių lankomų objektų 20 – 30 min pėsčiomis. Prie pat buto yra nedidelė maisto prekių parduotuvė.
