Walking into this 4-star spot, you immediately notice someone really thought about every corner, every lighting fixture, every piece of furniture. It’s got that curated feel without being stuffy about it, if that makes sense.

The location is honestly perfect for exploring Athens on foot. I mean, you’re right in the thick of things but somehow tucked away enough that you’re not dealing with the constant street noise that plagues so many central Athens hotels. The design studios and galleries in this neighborhood give it a completely different vibe from the tourist-heavy Plaka area – you’ll actually see locals heading to work in the morning, grabbing coffee at the corner spots that don’t have English menus. The metro connections are solid too, which saved me countless taxi rides during my stay.

What really impressed me was how they’ve managed to create something modern and sleek while respecting the Athens character. The rooms have these gorgeous high ceilings (thank god, because Athens summers are brutal), and the air conditioning actually works properly – I can’t tell you how many places skimp on this. The bathrooms are particularly well done, with rainfall showers that have proper water pressure. Small thing, but when you’re walking around Athens all day in 90-degree heat, a good shower becomes essential. The staff genuinely seems to know their stuff about the city too. Not just the standard “go to the Acropolis” recommendations, but they pointed me toward this incredible little taverna about six blocks away where I had the best moussaka of my entire trip. Check-in was smooth, though I’d suggest arriving after 3 PM – they seem to get a bit overwhelmed during the afternoon changeover period. The 8.3 rating feels about right to me, honestly. It’s not going to blow your mind with luxury amenities, but it does everything well and the design elements make it feel special. If you’re the type of traveler who appreciates thoughtful details and wants to feel connected to the actual city rather than trapped in a tourist bubble, this place hits the mark.

  The concept of having a self-serviced apartment for a few days, where you can come and go as you please; not worrying about whether the cleaners are fixing the room made my stay extremely relaxing. The apartment was clean and had more than what I needed. The balcony is large, and the location is perfect. The bed was incredibly comfortable too. The host’s responsiveness to my enquiries were extremely prompt and helpful. Look forward to staying again.

  Perfect location. The main shopping street, restaurants and bars, the Monastiraki metro station and a taxi stand can all be found in 3 minutes walk. The elevator was large. The room was small but functional and the bed was comfortable. The host was very friendly and helpful. The A/C was not functioning properly on the first day and he sent someone to repair it and an extra electric heater within 30 minutes of our notice. He also arranged an airport transfer for us.

  Fantastic location right close to Monastiraki Square. The large balcony definitely the best thing about the place. Great to finish the day with a wine out there. Room was immaculate. Bed very comfy and kitchen stocked with everything we needed. Plenty of room for clothes and everything else. Good instructions about how to get access to the room. Host always available.
