What I really appreciated was having the metro station so close — Syntagma is maybe a three-minute walk, which makes getting to and from the airport incredibly easy. The neighborhood has this great mix of traditional tavernas and modern cafes, so you get the best of both worlds.

Air conditioning works perfectly, which you’ll definitely appreciate during Athens summers. The soundproofing is impressive too — despite being on a busy street, I slept well every night.
