When I first walked into the Athens Luxury Penthouse, honestly, I wasn’t prepared for how the light would hit those floor-to-ceiling windows. The whole place just sort of glows in the afternoon – you know that golden hour light that Athens does better than anywhere else? Yeah, it floods this entire space, and suddenly you understand why they positioned everything the way they did.

The thing about this place is that it actually feels like someone’s home, not a hotel room that’s been designed to death. I mean, sure, it’s polished and everything’s perfectly placed, but there’s this lived-in quality that most luxury spots miss completely. The kitchen island is massive (and I’m talking about a real kitchen here, not some mini-fridge situation), which makes sense because you’ll want to grab ingredients from the local markets – there’s this incredible little place about three blocks down where the vendors still remember your face after two visits. The penthouse setup means you get that rare thing in Athens: actual quiet. No street noise filtering up, which is honestly a miracle given how lively the city gets, especially during summer evenings when everyone’s out until ridiculous hours.

What really got me though was the terrace situation – and I’m someone who’s seen a lot of Athens rooftops. This isn’t just some token outdoor space with a couple of chairs thrown around. You can actually see the Acropolis from certain angles (best view is from the eastern corner around sunset, trust me on this), and there’s enough room to properly spread out. The building itself sits in one of those neighborhoods that tourists haven’t completely discovered yet, which means you’ll find actual Athenians going about their daily routines instead of just other travelers taking photos. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle – like most places in the city center – but the check-in process was refreshingly straightforward, none of that overly formal hotel theater that makes everything take twice as long. The rating of 9.6 makes sense once you spend a night here; it’s that combination of space, location, and genuine comfort that’s hard to find. You know what I keep thinking about? How quiet the mornings are up there, with just the distant sounds of the city waking up below while you’re having coffee on that terrace, watching Athens stretch and yawn in the early light.

  תחבורה נוחה מאוד מכיכר סינטגמה. כ 250 מ'.
  מסעדות, מעדניות ובתי קפה מסביב.
  ובסמוך סופרמרקט באזאר (סגור בשבת)
  מרחב נוח למשפחה בת 9 נפשות , שכרנו את כל המתחם. מעולה למי שמגיע לטייל באתונה .
  
  What could be improved: מתחם האירוח – המרפסת- קצת צרה מלהכיל את כולנו לארוחות משותפות.
  בעייה של רעש בעת שימוש בשירותים ובמקלחות, בשל המשאבות שפועלות ביחידה.

  שכרנו את כל ה4 דירות ל8 חברים והיה מעולה ומאוד נוח.

  הדירה נקיה מאוד, נוחה ומאובזרת, במיקום מצויין.
  הצוות מעולה, התקשורת היתה טובה מהרגע הראשון, פינקו והסבירו והיו נחמדים וגם איפשרו כניסה מוקדמת יותר להשארת המזוודות וגם צ'ק אאוט מאוחר ביום העזיבה – מאוד מוערך !

  Perfect location, close to many restaurants, bars, sightseeings and main streets. Apartment is very comfortable, you have all the amenities you need. Check-in and check-out very easy, very responsive staff and host.

  We arrived early at almost 11am and forgot to give the host 30 mins notice so that the keys can be brought to us. We did have to wait but luckily we met the nice cleaning crew. I don't know her name but she called the host or property manager directly and allowed us to come inside the building. Bill (I think that is his name) is the tall older gentlemen who is such a sweetheart. He gave us a tour of our 4 bedrooms penthouse and showed us how to operate the locks and AC. We all like that each room has its own bath/shower along with its own mini kitchenette. The place was spacious enough for 7 people. The location of the property is the main highlight b/c it was so close to all the attractions. We walked throughout our stay in Athens without having to book a Taxi or Uber. There are so many eatery and shoppings along with walkable distance to other landmarks like Acropolis, Syntagma Square, Roman Agora, etc…
  
  What could be improved: The penthouse wasn't as luxurious like the photos or the name description itself…LOL. We were expecting more of a "wow" "penthouse" vibe which none of us got. The elevator hiccuped on us a few times hence, we had to walk either up or down the stairs since it wouldn't open up at the level we wanted. When we looked out from the balcony and windows, the view wasn't enticing, BUT the location of the penthouse did make up for what it lacked in…at least for us. The penthouse wasn't as luxurious but it was cozy and comfy for us. I want to thank the Host, their cleaning crew and the property management team (esp Bill) for making our stay memorable.

  It was a great location, the best value for the money in the center of Athens, and the host was very responsive and kind, and he took care of all of our needs. This apartment is a real gem! Situated in the best possible location, it offers unbeatable convenience for exploring the city. The apartment itself is in immaculate condition, beautifully renovated, and exudes both comfort and style. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, making this a perfect place to stay. Highly recommended!
