Athens View Loft – 02 Overview
You know what struck me first about Athens View Loft – 02? It’s honestly one of those places that makes you feel like you’ve stumbled onto something the tour groups haven’t discovered yet. I mean, the name pretty much gives it away – the view is absolutely everything here – but what they don’t tell you is how this loft somehow manages to feel both sophisticated and completely unpretentious at the same time.
The space itself has this wonderful industrial-meets-cozy vibe that actually works, which is rare. High ceilings, exposed brick in just the right spots, and these massive windows that frame the Acropolis like it’s a living piece of art hanging on your wall. I spent way too much time just sitting there with my morning coffee, watching the light change on the ancient stones as the city woke up below. The loft is set up smart too – there’s real separation between the sleeping area and living space, so if you’re traveling with someone who’s an early riser (guilty), nobody’s disturbed. The kitchen is compact but has everything you’d actually use, not just the weird gadgets some places throw in to look fancy.
What really sold me on this place, though, is the neighborhood feel. You’re close enough to the main attractions that you can walk to the Acropolis Museum in about fifteen minutes – I timed it – but far enough from the tourist chaos that you can actually hear yourself think. There’s this little bakery two streets over where the owner barely speaks English but will absolutely insist you try whatever she just pulled from the oven, and honestly, some of my best Athens memories happened at that tiny counter. The building itself is quiet, which matters more than you’d think when you’re trying to recover from jet lag or planning your next day over wine on the small balcony. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too – none of that awkward hunting around for key lockboxes or waiting for hosts who are “just five minutes away.” The whole experience just flows naturally, like staying at a well-organized friend’s place rather than feeling like you’re navigating some complicated vacation rental situation. With a 9.1 rating, I get why people keep coming back to this spot – it’s got that sweet spot of comfort, location, and character that makes you want to extend your stay by at least three more days.
Athens’s apartments offer spacious accommodations with classical charm, perfect for families wanting to experience daily life in this historically significant Greek capital.

We loved the location of the property and the appartment was clean and well furnished . The balcony was fantastic – great view of the city, walking distance to main attractions and close to the Metro . Owner was really helpful and gave great advice. Loved the coffee shop in the building .

Great apartment near all the ancient city district of Athens, all the main sites are within walking distance. The balcony had an amazing view of the Acropolis. Host was also very helpful.

Location is great, walking distance to most of the sightseeing spots. Right down stairs on the street is the tram station. The balcony is the best part of the apartment, you can see the view directly to the Acropolis.

In the centre of everything, we walked everywhere. Had a great balcony to relax on plus washing machine.
Lift works as well. Staff organised pick up & drop off for us to travel further, which took stress off trip.Paul from Australia (8/10)

Chryssa is an amazing host! We came back for third time, and like always, everything was perfect. Comunication with Chryssa months prior our stay was great, she is always available for any question. Apartment is on good location, and very close to sites and centre. In walking distance there are supermarkets, coffee places, restaurants, tram and bus station if needed, and the view at Parthenon from the balcony is amazing! Apartment is nice and clean, equiped with toiletries, coffee, spices, washing products… we felt like home but with much better view. We'll be back again!

Elle from United Kingdom (10/10)
Amazing location and gorgeous flat with a lovely view of the Acropolis from the huge balcony! Chyrssa was also lovely with lots of recommendations and a great map! Such good value for money too, I thought it would be too good to be true but it wasn’t.
Paraskevi from Germany (9/10)
Small room but with cleverly used space, good equipped, clean, marvelous view to the Parthenon. Although it lies on a busy road, it is quiet. The host was very friendly and gave us many tips to visit the city. Parthenon, Plaka, Monastiraki etc in a walking distance of about 10-15 min, through the small streets around it was very nice and there was a lot to see and to discover.
