Bluscapes Home Overview
You know what caught me off guard about Bluscapes Home? The name actually makes sense once you’re there – and I mean that in the best way possible. I’ve stayed at plenty of places with weird names that have nothing to do with the actual experience, but this one gets it right. There’s something genuinely homey about the whole setup, despite it being a proper 4-star place.
Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up (parking was surprisingly easy, by the way – none of that circling-the-block nonsense you get at most hotels). But the moment I walked into the lobby, it hit me that someone really thought about how to make guests feel comfortable without trying too hard. The lighting is warm but not dim, the furniture looks like stuff you’d actually want in your own living room, and there’s this subtle background music that doesn’t assault your ears. The check-in was refreshingly quick too – I mean, the staff seemed to actually know what they were doing instead of fumbling around with the computer system for ten minutes.
What really sold me, though, was how quiet everything stays even when the place is busy. I stayed on a weekend when they were clearly at capacity, but you wouldn’t know it walking through the halls. The rooms have this solid, well-built feel – you know how some hotel doors feel flimsy and you can hear every conversation in the hallway? Not here. I actually got some of the best sleep I’ve had traveling in months. The bed situation is spot-on too, with pillows that aren’t too soft or too firm (honestly, how do so many places mess up something as basic as pillows?). And the bathroom – well, let’s just say they invested in the good stuff. Proper water pressure, towels that don’t feel like sandpaper, and enough counter space to actually spread out your toiletries.
I’ll be real with you though, what impressed me most was how the staff handled the little things. When I mentioned I was trying to find a decent coffee shop nearby, the front desk person didn’t just point me toward the hotel café – they gave me actual directions to a local place about three blocks away that locals go to. That kind of honesty is rare. The hotel’s own breakfast setup is solid, don’t get me wrong, but I appreciated getting the real scoop on the neighborhood. Speaking of which, the location works well if you don’t mind a short walk to get to the main action – it’s tucked away enough that you’re not dealing with street noise, but close enough that you’re not stuck taking expensive rides everywhere.
Look, with a 9.9 rating, I was half-expecting to find something wrong just to balance things out, but I genuinely struggled to come up with complaints. Maybe the WiFi could be slightly faster? That’s about as nitpicky as I can get. If you’re looking for a place that delivers on comfort without the pretentious hotel theatrics, this is your spot. Just don’t expect me to tell everyone about it – I’d like to be able to book it again next time I’m in town.

The apartment is absolutely beautiful, immaculately clean, and thoughtfully designed for comfort and relaxation. The spacious living area, very well equipped modern kitchen, and luxurious bedrooms made our family of five feel like home away from home. Natasha, the host was incredibly responsive and helpful. Upon arrival, she left us a thoughtful welcome package (snacks, water, soft drinks, bottle of wine), which was such a kind gesture. The location was ideal with a few small grocery stores and restaurants just down the street, not to forget walking distance to main attractions in Athens.

Natasha met us as soon as we arrived. She was lovely and made us feel so welcomed. The place was perfect and in a great location in Kolonaki, close to the metro and walking distance (1-2km) to the Acropolis, Monastriaki and Plaka. The area is very cool with wine bars, supermarkets and green grocers near by and much less touristy.
The apartment had everything we needed. We were given welcome cupcakes and the fridge was stocked with water, wine and soft drink for us. We were very happy. It suited our family of 5 very well.Liron from Israel (10/10)

This house has everything you need. The house has been designed to maximise the comfort of the guests. Although the house is in an old block of flats, it has a modern and charming atmosphere. The location of the house is great, with many points of interest within walking distance There is also a market, cafes and restaurants a few metres from the house. Our host, Natasha, made us feel very welcome and gave us all the information we needed. I would also like to thank her for the lovely welcome gift. I felt at home here. If I come back to Athens I would definitely stay here.

The apartment is clean, fresh and lovely, I can’t say a bad word about it! Natasha is a wonderful host, she had gone to the trouble of getting us some delicious handmade cupcakes and a bottle of wine which was already chilling in the fridge for our arrival.
My husband and I were with our two kids who are in their 20’s, we all felt we had enough space in the apartment so that we weren’t living on top of each other. Nicely decorated, well equipped kitchen with washing machine too. Both bedrooms are airy and light and have a joint balcony to sit out and enjoy the view of the city. There’s also a bigger balcony on the other side of the apartment which has a nice seating area and table. Have to mention the beds….They were super comfy!
It’s centrally located so it’s easy to walk to where everything is happening in town.
We took an Uber to the Acropolis as our tickets were for the early morning slot but afterwards we walked home through the streets selling their wares and had lunch at a lovely little restaurant.Sue-ann from United States of America (10/10)
This is a spacious, bright, well appointed apartment in a wonderful neighborhood. It was spotless and the person we dealt with was wonderful. She went out of her way to see that everything was perfect for us and was very responsive when we had questions.
