The bed sits on this slightly raised platform that somehow creates the illusion of separate spaces, and there’s this oversized window that floods the whole place with natural light during the day. What I really appreciated was the kitchenette situation – it’s not just a mini-fridge and microwave shoved in a corner, but an actual functional space where you could legitimately make breakfast or heat up leftovers from that amazing Thai place I spotted two blocks down. The bathroom surprised me too, honestly. For a studio space, they managed to fit in a proper shower with decent water pressure, not one of those sad trickles you sometimes get in city center accommodations.

Location-wise, you’re really in the thick of things here – and that’s both the blessing and the slight curse. During the day, there’s this great energy with people walking by, street musicians sometimes setting up nearby, and you’re genuinely within walking distance of pretty much everything worth seeing. Evenings can get a bit lively (translation: sometimes noisy), especially on weekends, but the windows do a decent job of muffling most of it, and honestly, if you’re staying in the city center, you’re probably not planning to turn in at 9 PM anyway. The check-in was refreshingly straightforward – no overly complicated key card situations or confusing elevator access codes. I actually bumped into a few other guests in the hallway, and everyone seemed to be the type of traveler who appreciates good design and doesn’t need a concierge to hold their hand, which felt right for the vibe this place cultivates. With a 7.9 rating, it’s clearly doing something right, and after staying there, I’d say that score feels pretty accurate – it’s solidly good without being perfect, which is honestly refreshing in a world of places that oversell and underdeliver.

  The location was perfect for our plans, the apartment was clean and organized and well equipped with everything we could have needed. Stella helped us with transportation arrangements and allowed us to leave our bags in the apartment early, before check in time. And the price was very reasonable!

  Accommodation is in an excellent location, not far to a metro station, the Acropolis museum and the south entrance to the Acropolis. Also very close to other attractions and shops, restaurants and bars. Owner was helpful and easy to communicate with.
  
  What could be improved: It wasn't clear from the information on Booking.com that this is a basement apartment. The steps down are quite steep and I wouldn't have booked if I had known this as my wife is not very mobile. There needs to be another light in the entrance passage as at night it is very dark.

  The studio is as in the photos. Communication with the owner was excellent and she is accommodating and making sure things are going well. The bed is comfortable. The position in excellent, near everything but away from the night buzz. The studio has pretty much everything you might need.
  
  What could be improved: The studio is in the basement therefore the ventilation is not good. But aircon can be used to sort out this issue. Thank you
