The building itself is one of those classic Greek apartment blocks – solid, unpretentious, with that particular echo in the stairwell that somehow feels reassuring.

What really makes this place special though is how it actually lives up to its 9.4 rating. The terrace overlooks a small courtyard garden that belongs to the building next door, so you get this unexpected pocket of green in the middle of the urban sprawl. I spent most mornings out there with coffee, watching the neighbors hang laundry and water their plants – it’s oddly soothing and very authentically Greek. The two bedrooms are genuinely spacious (not just “spacious for Europe” spacious), and the kitchen is actually equipped for real cooking if you hit up the little market on the corner. Pro tip: the elderly woman who runs that market makes incredible spinach pies, and she’s usually there by 7 AM if you’re an early riser. The apartment gets fantastic natural light throughout the day – those big windows I mentioned earlier face different directions, so you’re never stuck in a cave-like situation even during the shorter winter days. Check-in was refreshingly smooth both times; the owner meets you personally and actually takes time to explain the neighborhood instead of just handing over keys and disappearing. My only minor gripe is that the shower pressure could be stronger, but honestly, after walking around Athens all day, you’re usually too tired to care about power showers anyway.

  La posizione è comoda al centro. L'appartamento è composto da due camere matrimoniali ampie, da un bagno con finestra e da un soggiorno con angolo cottura. L'appartamento è stato appena ristrutturato con mobilio nuovo. letti molto comodi. terrazzo ampio però con vista su un cortile interno. Il palazzo e l'entrata ingannano perché sono vecchi e malmessi, ma l'appartamento è super.

  Το διαμέρισμα είναι καινούριο, πεντακάθαρο και πολύ άνετο.Τα κρεβάτια εξαιρετικά.Τα σεντόνια και οι πετσέτες μοσχομυριζαν.
