You know what really caught me off guard about CityBee? I walked in expecting another generic business hotel, but this place actually has some personality. The lobby has this warm, buzzy energy that matches the name perfectly – there’s always something happening, but it’s the good kind of busy, not chaotic.

The 4-star rating feels spot-on here. I mean, you’re not getting marble everything and gold fixtures, but honestly, that’s not what this place is about. The rooms are thoughtfully designed with these clever little touches that make you think someone actually considered how real people use hotel rooms. The lighting actually works for reading (revolutionary concept, right?), and the shower pressure is solid – I’m talking about the kind that doesn’t leave you doing that awkward dance trying to rinse shampoo out of your hair. The beds are genuinely comfortable too, which you’d think would be standard but we all know it’s not.

What I really appreciate is how the staff seems to get the vibe they’re going for. Check-in was smooth without being robotic, and when I had a question about the area, the front desk person gave me actual local recommendations instead of just pointing to a tourist brochure. The whole place has this efficiency that doesn’t feel cold – sort of like staying with a friend who has their life together, if that makes sense. The common areas stay lively well into the evening, and I noticed a good mix of business travelers and people who seemed to be exploring the city for fun. There’s decent WiFi throughout (tested it extensively, as one does), and the coffee situation in the morning is better than most places in this category. I did notice things get a bit livelier on weekends – not party-loud, but definitely more energy if you’re someone who needs complete quiet. The 8.0 rating seems about right to me, actually. It’s the kind of place where the small things are done well, and while it might not have every bell and whistle, what it does have works properly and feels genuine rather than put-on.

  Comfortable apartment, so tastefully decorated right in the heart of the city! It was impeccably clean and had all the necessary amenities. The owner was always so kind and very quick to answer. The apartment is within walking distance from Plaka, the Acropolis, Syntagma square, Thisio etc. and it has immediate access to bars, cafes, restaurants and also public transport. Practically everything is just around!
  
  I would definitely recommend it and obviously choose to stay there again!

  it was a great experience. it was very clean and modern. the area is next to downtown, everything was absolutely amazing.
