I mean, you’re literally steps away from some of Athens‘ most interesting neighborhoods, which honestly makes all the difference when you’re trying to experience the real city. The hotel’s thoughtful design and welcoming atmosphere set the tone for an exceptional stay in Greece’s vibrant capital.

Location & Neighborhood

Here’s what I love about this spot — you’re in Kypseli, which locals know as one of the city’s most authentic areas. It’s not touristy at all, but you can easily walk to the National Archaeological Museum in about ten minutes, and Exarchia (the artsy, slightly rebellious district) is right there too. The metro connections are solid, so getting to the Acropolis or Plaka doesn’t require any planning. Couples seem to really appreciate this balance — you get the local experience without being stuck in the middle of nowhere. This neighborhood positioning offers travelers genuine insight into contemporary Athenian life.

The Suites

The room setup is actually pretty smart. These aren’t just regular hotel rooms — they’re proper suites with separate living areas, which gives you space to spread out after a long day of sightseeing. The kitchenette situation is basic but functional (perfect for making coffee or storing those amazing Greek yogurts from the local market). There’s no on-site restaurant for dinner, but you know what? You’re in Athens — some of the city’s best tavernas are within walking distance, and the staff will point you toward places where locals actually eat. The surrounding neighborhood offers exceptional dining opportunities for every preference.

  This is everything it says on Booking.com. The room we had was clean and large – included a coffee machine and any supplies required for cooking. The location is a c.20 minutes walk to the city centre, or 15 minutes by the nearest metro station. Given the price of neighbouring hotels, this is very good value for money if you're looking for a cheaper option.
  
  Really clear and efficient communication provided by the staff that run Connect Suites. They allowed us to store our bags on the day of checkout safely in the reception located about 5 minutes walk away.
