I’ll be honest – when I first booked the Cosy apartment in Glyfada center, I wasn’t expecting much beyond a decent place to crash. But you know what? This little gem completely changed my perspective on staying in Glyfada, and I mean that in the best possible way.

The thing about Glyfada is that most tourists rush straight to the beach without really exploring the center, which is actually a huge mistake. This apartment sits right in the heart of it all, and I’m talking proper neighborhood vibes – not tourist trap territory. You step out the door and there’s this amazing mix of local tavernas where Greeks actually eat (always a good sign), plus those trendy coffee shops that somehow manage to feel authentic rather than Instagram-staged. I spent way too many mornings wandering around with my coffee, just soaking up the energy of people heading to work or chatting with shopkeepers. The whole area has this lived-in quality that you don’t always find in beach towns.

The apartment itself? Well, it’s definitely cosy – they weren’t kidding with that name. But honestly, that’s part of its charm. Everything feels thoughtfully arranged, like someone actually lives here rather than just cycling through tourists. The bed was surprisingly comfortable (I’m picky about mattresses), and the little kitchen had everything I needed without feeling cramped. What really got me was the attention to small details – decent hangers, enough outlets in useful places, that kind of stuff that makes you realize someone cares about the guest experience. The WiFi was solid too, which matters when you’re trying to plan day trips or upload photos. I mean, the rating of 9.4 starts to make sense when you add up all these little things that work properly.

The location really shines though – you’re close enough to walk to Glyfada Beach when you want that seaside fix, but far enough from the main strip that you’re not dealing with constant noise or inflated prices. I found this amazing bakery just two streets over that locals queue up at every morning, and there’s a small market nearby where vendors actually remember your face after a few days. Parking wasn’t the nightmare I expected either, though I’d still recommend asking the host about the best spots. The whole experience felt more like temporarily living in Glyfada rather than just visiting, if that makes sense – and honestly, that’s exactly what I want from a place like this.

  Location is perfect.
  Close to Glyfada shopping district and to great beaches.
  
  What could be improved: Bathroom was small, only one person could be inside at a time.
  However everything was clean and in good condition.

  Exceptional location. Walking distance to restaurant, bars and beach.

  What could be improved: There was renovation next door that drilling and banging starts at 8:00 am Which was really disappointing and disturbing. Hopefully they will finish soon.
  Water heater needs to be turned on half an hour before using it.

  What could be improved: Very difficult to park. I had done my search basis parking available, but it turns out there was no parking, so sometime we had to walk 15 to 20 minutes from parking spot to apartment.
