I’ll be honest – when I first saw the listing for Cosy & stylish 1-Bedroom apartment in the centre, I was a bit skeptical. You know how these “stylish” places can sometimes be all Instagram and no substance? Well, this one actually delivers on both fronts, and after staying here twice now, I get why it’s pulling in those 9.5 ratings.

The moment you walk in, there’s this really nice balance between being design-forward without feeling like you can’t touch anything. The living space flows really well – I mean, it’s not huge, but whoever set this up clearly thinks about how people actually move through a space. The bedroom feels properly separate (thank god, because I’ve stayed in too many “1-bedrooms” that are basically studios with a curtain), and honestly, the bed is one of those where you’ll probably sleep better than you do at home. The kitchen situation is what really impressed me though – it’s compact but they’ve managed to fit everything you’d actually want to use. I ended up cooking breakfast most mornings because, well, why not when you’ve got a proper setup?

What I love about the location is that you’re genuinely in the thick of things without being on one of those tourist-trap streets where you can’t walk two steps without dodging a selfie stick. You can walk to pretty much everything worth seeing, but when you come back at night, it’s not like you’re trying to sleep through street performers and late-night revelry. The building itself has that solid, European feel – thick walls, which means your neighbors aren’t part of your experience unless you want them to be. Check-in was surprisingly smooth too, none of that awkward waiting around or hunting for keys situation. Actually, the whole communication thing was refreshingly straightforward – they tell you what you need to know without drowning you in unnecessary details. One tiny thing I’d mention is that if you’re bringing a lot of luggage, just know there are some stairs involved, but honestly, that’s pretty standard for central locations like this. The place just has this lived-in quality that makes you feel settled pretty quickly, you know? It’s the kind of spot where you find yourself lingering over coffee in the morning instead of rushing out, and where you’re actually excited to come back to in the evening rather than just using it as somewhere to crash.

  We spent 5 days in the apartment. We had everything we needed there. In the bathroom, there was a comfortable shower, bath products, and a hairdryer. The kitchen had a large fridge, all necessary utensils, cutlery, and pots, a coffee machine with capsules, and even olive oil and salt were available. The bedroom had a very comfortable bed, lots of pillows, and a wardrobe (and iron in it). In the room that served as a mini living room, there was a very comfortable place to lie down and watch smart TV (Netflix, YouTube, etc.). And that terrace! 🙂 Very large, with comfortable furniture, we loved chilling there with coffee or wine.
  
  The location is great in terms of proximity to attractions. Literally 5 minutes on foot to the National Archaeological Museum, about 10 minutes to the foothills of Lycabettus Hill (highly recommend for great views!), and approximately 20-25 minutes to the Acropolis. We walked everywhere, which was very convenient 🙂 Plenty of taverns and bars around, many places open from early morning (great breakfast options) to late night. However, it's important to note that it's quite close to Omonia Square (where you might encounter some sketchy individuals). Nevertheless, the area is usually bustling with people, so there's nothing to worry about, and I emphasize that we were there off-season (early March).

  Very nice compact apartment with welcoming terrace and good kitchen. Location is great — but you need to know the neighborhoods and it might not be for everyone

  It was clean. Comfortable bed. The large balcony,there was a place to relax. A big plus is air conditioning.
  
  What could be improved: The balcony could be completely covered from the neighbors side. It was uncomfortable. The neighbors see everything that happenes on the balcony.

  We enjoyed our stay very much. The apartment is centrally located, check-in was very easy, it was clean and cozy at the same time. The balcony is a good place to enjoy the sunset 🙂 I can recommend it 100%.

  Nice clean and comfortable little apartment close to the action in athens. It was easy to gong and to use and was well equipped. It was a good size for a couple, was safe and secure.
  
  What could be improved: The front of the building was , like a lot of Athens, was a bit run down and graffiti.
