You know what really impressed me though? The soundproofing. I was worried about street noise – Athens can get pretty lively, especially in the evenings – but the windows do their job. You’re actually positioned perfectly to explore on foot – Plaka is right there with all its winding streets and tavernas, but you can also easily walk to Monastiraki for the flea market or even make it to the National Gardens when you need a break from all the marble and history. The nearest metro stop is close enough that you don’t think twice about day trips to Piraeus or further out, but far enough that you’re not dealing with the constant rumble of trains. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too – none of that awkward key-exchange dance you sometimes get with apartment rentals. The whole experience just felt… easy, I guess? Like someone thought through all the little things that usually go wrong when you’re staying somewhere new. With a 9.0 rating, it’s clearly not just me who felt that way, and after spending a week there, I get why people keep coming back to this spot.

  The flat was more beautiful then it’s in the pictures, it exceeded our expectations 👌. It was very central, near to Plaka district. Neighborhood was full with different restaurants and shops. 5 minutes walk from the metro station. Owner let us late check-out and kept our belongings , which was amazing, especially for 7 Euro. He was attentive and very quick in responding👏
