It’s actually one of those places that manages to feel both polished and genuinely welcoming at the same time – which, honestly, is harder to find than you’d think in Athens these days. But DOMIOS hits this sweet spot where you can tell someone actually thought about what travelers need.

The suites themselves are what really sold me on the place. I’m talking proper space here – not just a regular hotel room with a fancy name slapped on it. The living areas actually make sense, with real seating where you can spread out your stuff (or just collapse after a day of wandering around the Acropolis). The kitchenettes are surprisingly functional too, which came in handy when I wanted to grab some fresh stuff from the local markets instead of eating out every single meal. And honestly, with Athens prices these days, that flexibility is worth its weight in gold. The design leans modern but doesn’t feel cold – there’s this nice balance of clean lines with enough character that you don’t feel like you’re staying in a showroom.

What I really appreciated, though, were the little things that show someone’s paying attention. The staff genuinely knows Athens beyond just the major tourist spots – I got some fantastic recommendations for neighborhoods I wouldn’t have discovered otherwise. Check-in was smooth, no weird surprises with fees or policies. The building itself stays pretty quiet, which matters more than you might think when you’re trying to recover from jet lag or just need a proper night’s sleep. I stayed during one of Athens’ busier periods, and while the city was buzzing outside, the place maintained this calm vibe that made it easy to recharge. With a 9.1 rating, it’s clear other people are having similar experiences – that’s the kind of consistency that makes me trust a place. Sure, it’s a 4-star property so you’re not getting over-the-top luxury, but sometimes that’s exactly what you want. Just a really solid base where everything works, the people are helpful, and you can focus on actually enjoying Athens instead of dealing with hotel drama.

  What could be improved: المدخل ليس واضح ، وهناك ثلاث ابواب حتى تصل الشقه كلها بارقام سرية ، المنظر من الشباك سيئ ، ليس هناك تنظيف يومي ، فاذا حجزت اكثر من يوم وترغب بمناشف او ماء او تبديل غطاء السرير فانتبه لهذه النقطة

  Everything was smooth for us! Great location, super clean and compact place. The staff were really responsive and helpful. Would recommend!
  
  What could be improved: The door key codes were quite complicated in the beginning but we got hang of it eventually.

  What could be improved: Only suggestion is directions to the suite could have been more descriptive, eg stating entrance is down the arcade and colour of door.

  Very good located in a wealthy neighborhood close on food to all sightseeings and restaurants in downtown, despite the entrance to the building through a gallery isn’t that nice as expected. Room interior fully renovated, well equipped and new.
  
  What could be improved: The room was basically tidy and done for next guest, but lacking of cleanliness (specially cupboards were not clean at all with a lot of dust). WiFi runs very slow sometimes. A bit pricey for a small room without breakfast despite of the location

  Location: location is good. It’s not at the heart but still within walking distance to all the tourist spots. Metro and supermarkets are around.
  
  Facility: things are new inside the room. It has free WiFi (but slow and not stable). Not big but you have everything you need
  
  What could be improved: comfort/environment: I should have been alerted the moment i saw dead mosquito bodies on the wall. I ended up staying up the whole night being harassed by mosquitoes (I counted more than 10). I have never stayed in a hotel that have so many bugs inside the room. I am extremely upset and left feeling exhausted because of this.
  
  Wi-Fi: very slow and not stable. Staying up and having nothing to watch.

  I was very impressed with the apartment.
  With regards to cleanliness, it was very clean and everything needed was provided like towels, slippers and shampoo. Room is spacious. Location is excellent, right in the city centre and walking distance from all the important attractions.
  Will definitely stay here again if I visit Athens.
