You know what caught me off guard about Elaia Luxury Selections Sapphire? I walked in expecting another cookie-cutter upscale place, but this feels more like staying at a sophisticated friend’s house – if that friend happens to have impeccable taste and a serious budget for interior design.

The lobby hits you with this warm, understated elegance that’s actually relaxing instead of intimidating. None of that marble-and-gold showiness you see everywhere – they’ve gone with natural materials and these gorgeous sapphire blue accents (clever, right?) that feel calming rather than flashy. The staff genuinely seems to remember your name after the first day, which honestly made such a difference during my stay. Check-in was smooth as silk, and they had my room ready early without me even asking. The rooms themselves are spacious in that “I can actually spread out my stuff” way, with these incredibly comfortable beds – I mean, I’m usually a terrible sleeper when traveling, but I was out cold every night. The bathrooms deserve a mention too; they’ve got this rainfall shower situation that’s actually powerful enough to rinse shampoo out of long hair (fellow travelers with thick hair will understand the struggle).

What really sets this place apart though is how they handle the little things that can make or break a stay. The soundproofing is excellent – no hallway chatter or slamming doors at all hours. There’s 24-hour room service that doesn’t take forever, and their restaurant actually serves food worth eating instead of the usual hotel fare that tastes like it came from a conference center. I had their seafood dish one evening and it was genuinely restaurant-quality, not just “good for hotel food.” The housekeeping team is thorough but not intrusive – they seemed to have a sixth sense about when I was out. Parking was straightforward and included, which saved me from the usual downtown hotel gouging. The fitness center is small but well-equipped with newer machines, and it never felt crowded during my week there. The concierge team knows their stuff too – they steered me toward some local spots I never would have found on my own, including this fantastic little coffee place just a few blocks away that became my morning ritual. With a 9.6 rating, you’d expect perfection, and while I wouldn’t say it’s flawless (the WiFi could be faster, and the air conditioning runs a bit loud), it’s pretty darn close. This is the kind of place where you’ll actually look forward to coming back to your room at the end of the day.

  Everything was amazing! The location was perfect and everything is walking distance. The apartment is very spacious and clean and sanitized and all the rooms have AC and TV. The entire house is a smart home which was amazing. The hosts take good care of you from the moment you land till you take off and check up on you if you need anything which will make you feel welcomed. I would definitely go again and recommend it to anyone going to Athens

  I've been visiting athens for 7 years now, I've tried many luxurious hotels and apartments, yet I haven't seen such a nice and well arranged apartment. I would say Elaia Sapphire is not one of the best, but it's the best place to stay In. it has all the needs you want, way beyond 5 star hotels. all the furniture are up to date, all the materials are genuine, they even have Netflix and PSP for God's sake. beside that a wonderful and amazing staff are running the place. I would definitely recommend that place and will definitely return to the same place whenever I'm with my family.

  The apartment is spacious and fully equipped with anything you need. It is in the heart of Metaxa in a quiet area. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. It is the perfect stay.

  I love that this apartment was SO BIG! We were a family of 5 and everyone was more than comfortable, beautiful modern furnishings, so clean, had a huge terrace outside that wrapped around the apartment, friendly neighbours (locals) and SO CLOSE to the main street shops, cafes. The local supermarket had all we needed and was less than 100m away. The food was so fresh there, esp the chicken which we frequently bought and roasted in the ample sized oven. The kitchen in the apartment was well serviced, in fact, exceeded what I expected for a self contained apartment. We had towels and linen changed twice during our stay, which was more than enough for us as there is a washer/dryer available. Dmitra was AMAZING – always accessible, friendly and nothing was ever too much trouble. She even organised a car rental for us, as we didn't do this at the airport. They came and dropped and picked up the car from the residence. Honestly, the BEST experience and so close to the nearby Voula. beach. Asteras Beach was closed for renovations but you could walk to the nearest beach club (highly recommended!) Athines by the Sea, Voula. It was about 15 mins (slow) walk. We had a wonderful time here…really wonderful. I would say it's one of the best serviced apartments we have stayed in – it was so close to the amenities but on the quieter end of the street. And there is a tram stop across the road if you don't want to rent a car. What I also liked was that they had roller shutters for the doors. This meant that at night, it was quiet enough to sleep!
