The staff seems to genuinely know what they’re doing too, which honestly makes such a difference when you’re tired from traveling. Check-in was smooth, no weird upselling pressure, and they remembered my name throughout the stay without being overly familiar about it. The rooms themselves strike that perfect balance between luxurious and livable. The beds are seriously comfortable (I’m picky about mattresses), and there’s enough space to actually unpack and settle in. What I really appreciated were the thoughtful touches – decent lighting for reading, plenty of outlets where you need them, blackout curtains that actually work. The bathrooms are spacious with those rainfall showers that don’t leave you shivering in a corner trying to get wet.

Location-wise, you’re right in the heart of things without feeling overwhelmed by tourist chaos. I could easily walk to great restaurants and cultural spots, but when I wanted to escape back to the hotel, it felt like a proper retreat. The neighborhood has this vibrant energy during the day that settles into something more sophisticated in the evenings. I spent quite a bit of time just people-watching from the hotel’s bar area – which, by the way, makes an excellent cocktail if that’s your thing. The service throughout my stay consistently hit that sweet spot where they’re attentive without hovering. You can tell this place attracts travelers who know their hotels, and the 9.1 rating honestly doesn’t surprise me at all. It’s the kind of place where small details are handled so well that you don’t even notice them until you stay somewhere else and realize what you’re missing.
