It’s one of those moments where you stop mid-step because you can’t believe this is actually your view for the next few days.

The apartment itself has this really thoughtful setup that you don’t always find in vacation rentals. Everything feels intentionally chosen rather than just thrown together, you know? The bed is actually comfortable (and I’m picky about mattresses), the kitchen has proper coffee-making equipment – not just some sad instant coffee packets – and the bathroom has one of those rainfall showerheads that makes you want to stay in there forever. What I really appreciated was the attention to lighting; there are these warm lamps scattered around that make the whole place feel cozy in the evenings, especially after you’ve been walking around ancient ruins all day. The WiFi is solid too, which honestly matters more than it should when you’re trying to upload photos or figure out dinner plans.

But here’s what really sets this place apart – the location gives you this perfect balance of being right in the heart of everything while still feeling like you have your own little sanctuary. You’re close enough to hear the early morning tour groups gathering (which actually became my natural alarm clock), but the apartment stays surprisingly quiet. I loved being able to walk to Monastiraki Flea Market in about ten minutes, and the Acropolis Museum is literally a five-minute stroll. You’ll find yourself taking different routes each time just because there are so many charming side streets to explore. The neighborhood has this authentic Athens vibe – there’s a little bakery around the corner where the owner remembers your order after day two, and you’ll pass locals sitting outside cafés having those long, animated conversations that make you wish you spoke Greek. Evenings are magical because you can actually see the Acropolis lit up from certain spots nearby, and the whole area has this golden glow that photographers dream about. With a 9.9 rating, it’s clear other travelers have had similar experiences, and honestly, after staying here, I get why people keep coming back to this exact spot rather than just booking anywhere in Athens.

  Annie, is a warm and very helpful host.
  She generously allowed us to keep our luggage early in the apartment and check out late as we had flights at odd times.

  Location is brilliant. Right next to all the restaurants, grocery store and Met station. Host very helpful. Wonderful city to wander around. Highly recommended!

  Excellent location and feels safe. The apartment was no different from the photos. The cleaning was deeply done. Beds are comfortable. Ladies! You’ll love this. Hygienic pads, daily pads, cotton tips, round cotton pads, makeup remover towels are supplied. Good shampoo, hair conditioner, shower gel and even kids shampoo available. Our daughter with had a small injury and guess what? There was a kid first aid kit was there! A wound pomad, an antibacterial spray and bandaids were there in the cabinet! It helped us a lot! Shaving cream was available. There is filter coffee machine, a nespresso capsule machine is available. Laundry detergent is available. If you will have a long stay, you ‘ll have everything. The balcony is nice and big enough. The bedrooms are completely seperated with a door which is good for families with children after bed time. There is a nice Italian Restaurant and a cafe at the entrance to the building and a market next door. Everything that you might need if you are willing to cook is available.
  
  What could be improved: The heating did not work and it was Christmas and noone could take care but still, we used AC for heating. No harm done.

  This two-bedroom apartment is very clean, spacious, modern, and well-equipped with both large and small appliances. The furniture is very comfortable. All sliding doors have additional roll-up doors for added security. We cooked almost daily and enjoyed our meals in the apartment. The location is extremely convenient (in Plaka). A popular grocery store is one door down the street; the subway station entrance is literally steps away. You can see the Acropolis up the street. Most of all, Annie is a prompt host. We arrived late at night and had trouble finding the building hallway light switches, so getting access to the lockbox in the dark was a bit challenging, but Annie responded right away to help. I will definitely stay again if I ever come to Athens again. This apartment gave us wonderful memories of the great time we had in Athens. A perfect place to stay at for visiting the old town Athens.
  
  What could be improved: Nothing I can think of. The host Annie is very receptive and can make adjustment on request. She asked for feedback to ensure our stay was comfortable.

  Annies place is just a stone's throw away from Acropoli museum and the entrance of Acropoli itself. Around 5-10 minutes away from all the other of Athens. Metro right at the doorstep. The place itself is pretty spacious with a huge balcony that enhances outdoor experience. Very roomy bathroom. It was a bargain for us! Would definitely recommend to everyone.

  Everything. Apartment is perfectly situated with easy access to the acropolis and right beside a metro station making getting to and from the airport very easy. Walking distance to all the main attractions and loads of bars / restaurants. Supermarket a 1 minute walk away. Apartment was lovely, spacious and clean. Kitchen was well equipped and the rooms were spacious and very comfortable. Water and fruit were provided on arrival and there were lots of tea bags and toiletries provided. Could not fault this apartment or Annie who kept in touch throughout our stay in case we had any problems (which we didn’t). Highly recommend this apartment. Great value for money.

  Great location with restaurants, shops, cafes and wine bars just outside the apartment and the metro a few minutes away, which we took back to the airport.
  The apartment was spotless and very spacious for the three of us. It has everything you need and many extras! Annie was extremely helpful with any questions I had. I was worried about finding lactose free milk in Athens, and she very kindly went to the supermarket next to the apartment to see if they had it and sent me a photo of it so I would know what to buy. If we went back to Athens, we’d definitely stay again.
