But after staying there, I get it now. This isn’t one of those stuffy hotels where you feel like you’re walking on eggshells; it’s more like staying at a really well-appointed friend’s place, if your friend happened to have impeccable taste and a serious attention to detail.

The whole vibe hits you right when you walk in – there’s this perfect balance between elegant and actually livable. You know how some luxury places make you feel like you shouldn’t touch anything? Not here. The common areas have this warm, lived-in feeling (in the best way), with lighting that actually makes sense and seating where you’d want to hang out with a coffee or glass of wine. The staff genuinely seems to care about what they’re doing, which honestly makes such a difference when you’re trying to unwind. I mean, check-in was smooth, but more importantly, they remembered my name the next morning without checking their notes – small thing, but it matters.

What really sets this place apart is how they’ve thought through the details that actually affect your stay. The rooms are quiet – like, properly quiet, not just “we put some carpet down and hoped for the best” quiet. The beds are that perfect firmness where you don’t wake up feeling like you wrestled with the mattress all night, and the bathrooms have the kind of water pressure that makes you want to extend your stay just for the showers. Actually, speaking of extending stays, I ended up doing exactly that because the whole place just works. There’s reliable WiFi (tested it thoroughly while catching up on work), the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a freight train, and the housekeeping team has this knack for tidying without making you feel like someone rifled through your stuff. The breakfast situation is solid too – not one of those sad continental spreads, but actual food that tastes like someone in the kitchen gives a damn.

Honestly, what impressed me most was how the Elliniko Luxury Residence manages to feel both polished and unpretentious. It’s the kind of place where you can roll up looking a bit travel-worn and not feel judged, but you could also bring your parents or impress a business colleague if needed. The location works well whether you’re planning to explore the area or just need a comfortable base, and parking isn’t the nightmare it can be at some places. I’ve stayed at plenty of hotels that promise luxury but deliver sterile rooms and attitude – this one actually delivers on making you feel welcome and comfortable, which is rarer than it should be.

  It was conveniently located in the town of Glyfada. We had a health emergency on vacation and it was closed to the hospital where my loved one was admitted.
  
  Breakfast items were supplied in the refrigerator: eggs, bacon, cheese, cold cuts, olives, and plenty of water!
  
  It is also close to a pharmacy and a large grocery store (about a 2 block walk).
  
  Unlike other websites, the photos of the flat online are exactly what you get!

  the host Dimitri was a very friendly and polite person. he showed us around the rooms and explained everything also gave information on how to get around for different things. Overall my wife, kid and I enjoyed the stay and we would recommend it to other families looking to stay in greece. Very well located, there is a parking garage, supermarket in 350mts and metro station in 550mts. the best place to live in athens, not exactly in the centre yet you feel you have everything around.

  100% as shown in the pics and super spacious. Dimitris was the best host! His communication was prompt and he was a wealth of information. I love that the property had parking. Make sure you rent a small car because parking garage is TIGHT, but we made it work. You may also find free street parking (white lines) – we did. There were lovely welcome treats on the counter and in the fridge. A Nespresso machine with plenty of cartridges…honestly, the best! There are 2 balconies which is nice. The balcony off of the bedroom has the drying rack (FYI). There’s a large grocery store in walking distance and the Eliniko metro station is right down from the store. We used it almost every day of our stay. Metro pass was super cheap and it takes you anywhere you could want to go, in the city. Glyfada is super close too and even more options to eat. This would be my place of choice when I return again. Safe and quiet neighborhood. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

  The apartment is really amazing. The decoration is very neat and really luxurious
  The company took care of picking me up from the airport without a problem even though my flight was delayed.
  The metro stop is only 2 blocks away and in between it has the biggest supermarket in the whole area

  Eine runde Sache. Die Kommunikation war super schnell und zuverlässig. Als wir spät abends mit Baby ankamen waren wir sehr dankbar, dass Dimitris an der Unterkunft auf uns gewartet hat und der Kühlschrank bereits mit Wasser, Wein, Eiern, Aufschnitt, Toast, Saft und Tapas gefüllt war. Jederzeit wieder gern. Und Top war natürlich auch der Blick aufs Meer und der Tiefgaragenstellplatz
