I’ve stayed at my fair share of four-star spots, and while this one hits that solid 8.0 rating for good reason, it’s the little things that actually make it memorable.

The apartments themselves are what I’d call “thoughtfully practical” – not fancy enough to make you nervous about spilling something, but definitely a step up from your typical hotel room. The kitchenettes are actually usable (I mean, you could legitimately cook a real meal if you wanted to), and the living spaces feel like someone put actual thought into how people move around and live in the space. The Wi-Fi is solid throughout – I worked from the couch for a few days without any issues, which is honestly rare. What really got me was the attention to details like having enough outlets where you actually need them, and blackout curtains that, well, actually black out the room. Small stuff, but it matters when you’re trying to sleep off jet lag or get some work done.

The building itself has this quiet efficiency that I really appreciated. Check-in was smooth – no drama, no waiting around, just straightforward and professional. The staff seems to know what they’re doing without being overly chatty, which I personally prefer. Parking was easier than I anticipated (always a relief), and the building feels secure without being fortress-like. I stayed during what seemed like a pretty busy period, but the soundproofing between units is surprisingly good – you’re not hearing every conversation or TV show from your neighbors. The cleaning service is thorough too; they actually clean behind things and don’t just make the beds and call it done. Look, it’s not going to blow your mind with luxury amenities or Instagram-worthy lobbies, but if you want a reliable, comfortable base that feels more like a temporary home than a hotel room, Elvita Apartments 4 delivers exactly what it promises. Sometimes that’s exactly what you need.

  Perfect position close to metro and served by shops and bars. Good if you want to reach center of Pireus for the ferries to islands

  The host was very friendly and gave us a very warm welcome. The apartment was in a great location, safe, quiet and a few minutes walk to metro. The bed was ultra comfy. The bathroom was lovely, clean and a great shower. The kitchen has everything you would need including some nice extra touches. The host made sure that we had everything we would night for a comfortable stay. Would highly recommend this lovely place to anyone visiting Athens.

  The accommodation is not in the centre, but it is very easy to get to the metro (5 minutes walk from the station), which makes it easy to get anywhere. The accommodation has air conditioning in all rooms, which is very useful in these hot summer days. Getting in was also very easy thanks to the good description from the host.

  Apartment – liked the independence. Host was great, very helpful. Easy to find as close to Metro. Easy and quick to get into centre. Eateries, supermarket and pharmacy close by. Has washing machine. 6th floor but great lift. Balcony.
