I’d rather have character over flashy amenities any day. The beds are actually comfortable (I’m picky about this), and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without feeling cramped. What really got me was the attention to small things – good lighting for reading, outlets where you need them, proper water pressure in the shower. Basically, stuff that shows someone thought about how real people actually use hotel rooms.

The whole vibe here leans more authentic Athens than tourist bubble, if that makes sense. I stayed during what I’d guess was a pretty busy period, but the place never felt overrun – maybe it’s the layout, or maybe they’re just good at managing crowds. Look, I’ll be straight with you – this isn’t the kind of place where you’re going to spend all day lounging by some massive pool or hitting up five different restaurants without leaving the property. But if you’re the type of traveler who wants to actually experience where you are, who gets excited about discovering neighborhoods and stumbling onto local spots, then this place gets it. The 8.9 rating honestly feels right – it’s not perfect, but it’s the kind of imperfect that feels genuine rather than disappointing.   Loved the location – excellent if you want to visit the ancient greek sites. Most of them are nearby. Even the ones a bit further away are walkable (around 30 min).

  The perfect place to stay. Good location a few mins walk from the Acropolis, metro stn and bars/restaurants. Lovely roof too jacuzzi and bar- great view over to the Acropolis. Friendly staff. Good breakfast.

  Location,clean, excellent breakfast buffet (included), as well as both restaurants. The view and food on rooftop restaurant was a must.

  Extremely helpful staff. Great room with wonderful view of the Acropolis. Located in an excellent area with lots of restaurants and shops. Had drinks ar the rooftop restaurant and the drinks were a little pricey but worth it due to the full moon and stunning views

  Excellent location close to acropolis and museum. Plenty of restaurants around the area and the hotel has rooftop restaurant and bar with view of acropolis.

  Location was good- close to Acropolis.

  Staff was average, except for Nick, the assistant waiter at the Rooftop restaurant. He was far more attentive, knowledable and friendly than our own waiter. Nick should be promoted to a waiter; he would be awesome!

  Highly recommend. View from rooftop restaurant/bar is stunning. Barring needing to be earlyish for eggs and that suspicious green bowl on the wall, all was excellent!
