Hestia – Asklipiou 9 Overview
You know what really struck me about Hestia – Asklipiou 9? It’s one of those places that gets the balance just right between feeling boutique and actually being comfortable. I mean, you walk in and there’s this immediate sense that someone actually thought about how real people travel – not just what looks good in photos.
The location on Asklipiou is honestly perfect if you want to feel like you’re staying somewhere locals actually live. It’s not stuck in the middle of tourist central, but you’re still close enough to everything that matters. I loved being able to grab coffee from the little place around the corner in the morning instead of being trapped in hotel breakfast land. The street itself has this nice residential vibe during the day, then comes alive in the evening without getting crazy loud – though if you’re a super light sleeper, maybe pack earplugs just in case. The rooms have this clean, modern feel without being sterile, and honestly, the beds are better than what you’d expect. There’s attention to small stuff that actually matters when you’re living somewhere for a few days – good lighting for reading, outlets where you need them, decent water pressure. The staff genuinely seems to know the neighborhood, too, which makes a huge difference when you need recommendations that aren’t just the obvious tourist spots.
What really sold me on this place was how it felt after a long day of walking around. Sometimes you just want to come back somewhere that feels calm and well-run, you know? The 4-star rating isn’t just about thread counts or marble bathrooms – though those are nice too – it’s about the whole experience working smoothly. Check-in was actually painless, the WiFi works properly (thank god), and there’s this sense that if something went wrong, they’d sort it out quickly. The 9.1 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there a few days. It’s not trying to be the fanciest place in the city, but everything it does, it does really well. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if I wanted to explore the neighborhood properly instead of just hitting the major sights and running. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel like you’re getting a genuine taste of the city rather than just passing through.
Hotels near me in Athens offer convenient access to the ancient center, where guests can easily walk to the Acropolis Museum, Ancient Agora, and traditional tavernas.

Eloblabla from Italy (9/10)
Situation, comfort, service level and reactivity of conciergery via whatsapp, equipment of the kitchen, comfort of beds, presence of genuine duvet,… Chery on the cake : the roof top with stunning view on acropolis ! We also appreciated the possibilité to have separate rooms in a shared flat.
Marija from Croatia (10/10)
The apartment was comfortable and cozy, offering great value for money. The location was perfect—just a 10-minute walk from the main square and only a few minutes from a street lined with bars, yet it was situated on a quiet street. The rooftop was the cherry on top. I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone.

Tamar from Israel (9/10)
The apartment was very clean and well equipped – from complimentary basic toiletry like shampoo+ soap, hair dryer to basic and clean kitchen utensils (a pod for dishwasher and laundry were also provided).
The bedding and towels were very clean and we got a fresh set of towels when requested.
Staff, including house keeping were fast to respond and helpful when needed. Since the apartment is located a little outside the main area (additional 10
Min walk+-) it was quiet so we could get a great night sleep.Li from Switzerland (9/10)

Virginiatr from Greece (10/10)
I had a pleasant stay at this central apartment in Athens. The location is superb, with easy access to key landmarks, shops, and restaurants. The apartment was clean, modern, and provided a comfortable space to relax after exploring the city.
One small suggestion for improvement would be the addition of a few extra amenities, like slippers and hair lotion, which would have added a touch of convenience and comfort to the stay. Although these weren’t listed, they are often expected in similar accommodations.
Overall, I was satisfied with my stay and would recommend this apartment for its location and cleanliness, but a couple of small additions could make it even better.
