  We travelled to Athens and stayed in IO suites at the Gaia Suite (double bedroom double bathroom flat) in November as a family of 4 with two teens. The flat is in the neighborhood of Petralona and is about half an hour walk away from the historic old town of Athens, and in close proximity to the mass transportation. The building itself has been completely renovated and all the flats are for temporary stay. The flat itself was impeccably clean at arrival so we would like to extend special thanks to the cleaning crew which did an amazing job. There is a fully equipped gym at the ground floor that is usable at all times. Our host Christina Kiziridi was wonderful from the moment of booking till we said good bye. She was very attentive and responsive on chats at all times. We had a slight problem in making the stove work and she came back to us immediately and helped fix the problem. The flat we stayed in was very comfortably furnished, beds spotless and soft and comfortable. The whole house was well furnished and all the appliances including a washing machine dish washer and microwave are there. The aircos work well and without sound, and the heating is very good. The flat had one front balcony overlooking the street and one back terrace overlooking a small patio. It is silent and peaceful for sleeping as the bedrooms are located in the back of the house. The neighborhood of Petralona is a typical and very friendly area, with local mom and pop stores all around or just 8-9 min walk from the Lidl if a larger supermarket is needed. Basically all you need is nearby. Getting in the building and accessing the flat was no problem at following the instructions sent by Christina. We rented a car for a few days and also parking on the street was not a big problem. However if needed there is an autopark with reasonable prices about 800mts from the flat. Overall one of the best stays we had in a flat via booking. Thanks for contributing to our great stay in beautiful Athens.
