The kitchenettes are properly equipped too – not just a mini-fridge and a prayer, but actual cooking space if you want to grab some local groceries and make breakfast without paying hotel prices.
What really won me over, though, was how quiet everything stays at night. You know how some places look great online but then you’re lying there at 2 AM listening to doors slam and people stumble down hallways? Not here. The soundproofing is actually decent, and there’s this calm energy throughout the building that makes you think the other guests are probably the type who respect shared spaces. The staff – well, I’m guessing Jo and Ju themselves, or at least people who work like they own the place – seem to have figured out that sweet spot between being helpful when you need something and not hovering around trying to upsell you on spa treatments every five minutes. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward, and when I had a question about the best coffee spot nearby (because the in-room coffee was fine but nothing to write home about), they gave me the kind of local recommendation that actually panned out. That 8.6 rating makes total sense once you’ve stayed there – it’s the kind of score you get when you consistently deliver on what you promise without any major headaches, but maybe don’t have those extra touches that push you into the 9+ territory. Which, honestly, I prefer over places that wow you with champagne on arrival and then nickel-and-dime you for WiFi.

The location is superb. The apartment is well maintained and comfortably accommodated our family of four. Both the bed and sofa bed were comfortable.
