That 9.8 rating isn’t just numbers on a screen – it actually makes sense once you’re standing there looking out at whatever view they’ve got framed perfectly through those windows.

The thing about staying in a two-level place is you really feel like you’re living somewhere, not just crashing for a few nights. I mean, there’s something about having that separation between levels that gives you actual breathing room. Downstairs becomes your hang-out zone, upstairs is where you retreat when you need to decompress – it’s sort of like having your own temporary house, which honestly beats the hell out of staring at the same four hotel walls all week. The panoramic view (and trust me, they’re not overselling this) hits different depending on the time of day. Morning coffee up there? Yeah, that’s going to ruin regular hotel stays for you permanently.

What really got me was the attention to practical stuff that most places totally overlook. The layout actually flows well – you’re not constantly bumping into furniture or wondering why they put the kitchen in some weird corner. Everything feels intentional, which is rare in vacation rentals where you sometimes get the sense they just threw together whatever furniture was on sale. The lighting works properly (you’d be amazed how many places get this wrong), and there’s enough space that if you’re traveling with someone, you won’t be on top of each other the entire time. Actually, the upstairs level gives you this perfect escape when you need some solo time to just… exist, you know? Plus, that panoramic view means you’re getting natural light from multiple directions, so even on cloudy days the place doesn’t feel cave-like. I’ve stayed in plenty of highly-rated spots that looked great in photos but felt cramped or dark in person – this isn’t one of those situations. The whole setup just works, and honestly, once you’ve experienced having that much space and those views, going back to a standard hotel room feels pretty limiting.

  Amazing property with great amenities, the apartment had pretty much everything you need. The location was great and quite peaceful and walking distance from the centre. Very spacious and the terraces were my favourite as the view from them is amazing.
  The hosts were lovely and so helpful with everything throughout our stay. Gave very good recommendations on where to go and provided a map with their favourite places to visit.

  We liked the whole place and especially the details – the stairs, the pictures on the walls, the books, the CD collection. Both the terraces are like gardens, with lots of plants shading you from the sun and with an awesome view. Also, a very cool view on the Lycabettus Hill opens from the other, more small balconies.
  The bed was perfect, but I prefer hard beds, so maybe only a pro for me 🙂
  Enough kitchenware for every need. Airco doing it's job properly.

  The apartment is spacious and airy, and when you come back from a day of walking over the vibing city, it's really relaxing to hang out at.

  Immaculately presented with books to read, guide books and board games. A sheet of personal recommendations of local places was a lovely touch. Location in Exarchia district – I loved it – away from the madding crowd but nearby cool spots to eat and hang out. Street art appreciation as I walked back every night (look out for works by Sonke and WD). I was with my 11y old and get perfectly safe after dark. Well equipped apartment and kitchen. Breakfast bar and tables to sit at – inside the apartment and on the balconies. Lovely electric blackout shutters in the bedroom. Retro / arty high class styling.
